I don't think that Yao is gay and he doesn't like to be the perfect wife of a Rocket fan on this board.
Good call! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks DaAleck needs a woman instead of freaking everyone out by publicly proclaiming his mancrushes.
I don't know about the wife analogy, but there is something that Yao brings to the Rox that has made me more connected to this team since Dream left. And I have nothing in common with Yao at all, but his intelligence and humor along with his "boy scout" persona has just been a refreshing change from what I dislike about the NBA. It is strange watching the Rox without Yao. I didn't realize how much I watched his every move on the court. Without him, the game almost seems monotonous. Peculiar.
Man well said DeAleck...I love watching the rockets and I think Tmac is sweet ass sweet but something is missing whne i watch the rockets now..To tell you the truth I just dont find the games as fun to watch..I find myself talking with friends and throwing back brewskies with the rockets game as a distant second in the background...man whats wrong with me...Im a fanatic but what is going on? they just arent as fun to watch and there is no fire in their games..Whats happening to me..haha
I think the losing part has something to do with it, but you guys have to admit that as much as some of you love to hate on the one guy or the other, it's pretty darn sweet to watch our two stars dancing together every other night, it just isn't the same when you dance alone, is it? Seriously though, get healthy first and foremost and don't rush back Yao, we need you yes to win games and right this ship, but your long-term health and well-being far outweighs the outcome of this season.
I miss Yao too. Recently I don't feel as excited when Rockets game is on. Without Yao we are just a completely different team now, and it is very painful to watch too. Yao, please come back soon~
I was just thinking about creating a thread like this one before loggin in. I was looking at the Rockets Highlights during the trip and i noticed a big difference between Yao and no Yao. Yao makes the living of the players and the fans easier and we take it for granted. I am telling you again guys, T-mac and Yao are made for each other and DAaleack you can not come in between their lovefest with your post. I am still convince that this team is a championship team with all healthy players.
