Since when is Iowa State known as WIDE RECEIVER U?? Its not like Hutchinson was setting the world on fire.....so this idiot double dips. The Texans have NO SPEED.
Oline been garbage for about 5 seasons now lol. The man literally has no idea how to build one and apparently, no one in the building knows how.

wasted stroud's rookie contract, wasted the defense, survived 2 one and done HCs that he picked, the baffling trade ups and trade downs with wasted assets, diggs trade, bargain shopping for o line help after trading away tunsil(could have stayed right there and grabbed simmons)
easily; tank dell, pierce, stroud, and anderson in one draft class not to mention taking stingley and collins
Great points on both sides of the debate, the O Line is the ONE thing I dont get, we have wasted CJ`s rookie deal and TBH I am not sure if Demeco will get the best out of this team and it pains me to say that. I am not sure if the season is over, but someone better get the defibrillator, cause were on life support
I have to say, this offense is just not clicking. I don’t think it’s something that can be fixed this season. One of the most boring teams since 2011 that I had expectations for
I think I'm ready to see both Nicks sent home. Demeco can stay. I believe he is worth investing in long term.
As much as I love Demeco, he picked two OCs, the team has been undisciplined for 3 seasons. If one goes, they all go
Spending large amounts of draft/cap capital to shore up positions of weakness is a tacit acknowledgement of past failures. And Caserio sees himself as the venture capital smartest guy in the room. So he refuses to "overpay" and thinks he can find some hidden inefficiencies to satisfy a need cheaply (and maybe that worked with Tom Brady). What he's done to the o-line alone is a fireable offense.
Here's an article that looks at some potential candidates... https://www.si.com/nfl/future-nfl-general-managers-list-candidates-2025-offseason-beyond A guy I've been intrigued by is Ed Dodds, he's widely respected as one of the best talent evaluators in the league and has interviewed for GM jobs last year. He's a Native Texan, something that appeals to me (I'm tired of northeasterners) and he's a Super Bowl champion. https://www.chargers.com/news/los-angeles-chargers-general-manager-search-ed-dodds-5-things
I don't expect Demeco to make good decisions on the offense. I want the GM to do that. He's an elite defensive coach and doesn't **** things up in-game like BOB and early Kubiak did, that's good enough for me.
He’s the head coach. Demeco is one of my favorite Texans ever, have 2 of his jerseys. But he has not lived up to being a good head coach. The lack of discipline, including the defensive side has not improved at all.
