Nope. Seth Payne this morning went over a draft analysis, same one he read during days leading up to draft, and it said a team took him off the board and one GM characterized him as a ‘**** up’ I’d always thought he dropped bc that knee injury he had was something like 60% of players do not return from if at all.

They also said he’s deleted his insta. Boomers might not think much of it but that’s kind of a big deal for Gen Z.

Caserio may have wiffed on OL but it hasn’t been bc he’s drafted basket cases. It always poor talent evaluation and possibly scheme fit. Here’s hoping Ersey becomes at the very least a solid starting LT.

I don’t get these over emotional youngsters man.
I coach/work with a lot of athletes in many different sports and honestly I don’t get that vibe from the majority of them.
But……there are some that it’s so very clear they’re going to let their emotions ruin their future.

I am at least glad Caserio can recognize that.

He did. Based on your takes it doesn't seem like you watch the games at all. You just be saying anything.

The chargers had momentum then CJ had a spectacular play to escape pressure and switched the entire feeling of the game around.

Lets just say HYPOTHETICALLY you were referring to each players upside, however I don't recall that. But even if that were the case, that would make your assessment as them being better than Stroud in YOUR point of view at some point, correct?

So you’re confirming you don’t know what upside means?
Regardless, right now Maye is playing better than Stroud.
Herbert has had a better start to his career.

If all 3 reach their absolute best outcomes, CJ doesn’t have the physical tools to compete with the others.
But…..CJ’s accuracy ( outside of last year and the first 3 games this year) gives him a higher floor.

    You're entitled to your opinion.

One lucky play doesn't mean he came up big in the playoffs.

Truth is the Texans as an org hav3e always had a ceiling and CJ has helped them reach that ceiling once again. A ceiling that after an 0-3 start they will be lucky to achieve this year.

Im not sure what gave you the indication that I don't know what UPSIDE mean but through our banter over the years, surely you ought to know, that I know what upside means.

However, just because someone is CURRENTLY playing better than another player does not make them necessarily better than another player. If anyone, let anlone a GM, Head Coach or Player Personnel assessor took that knowledge to evaluate a player, they would be FIRED. Because things change, the seasons are long.....That
is kind of ridiculous, don't you think?

In addition to Herbert, when ever he wins a Playoff game then he can be mentioned with CJ

I’m sorry, but it’s the other way around with Herbert. Herbert hasn’t won in playoffs but CJ wasn’t the reason we won either.
Herbert has literally had the best start to a career in history of the league.
CJ needs to worry about being an upper half of the league QB first

And stop it. You have brought up cherry picked stats nonstop to defend Stroud and knock Maye.

We can cherry pick for sure. Take away the Baltimore game and Stroud is a bottom 10 QB

    That wasn’t referring to playoffs.
I said Herbert has been better to start his career, because he’s literally had the best statistical start ever for a QB.
He’s only had one playoff game where he was ****.
That was pretty clear in the comment if you read it right.

Maye does not play for The Texans.
Therefore, I do not care about any comparisons.
CJ is the horse our wagon is hitched to.
I can tell the off week has left many in need of some football discussion

I am REALLY scratching my head on this! So, if you were a GM, you would chose Herbert over Stroud?

    100% of the league would.
I don’t think that is really that big of a conversation tbh.

No, you said CJ wasn't the reason we won in the Playoffs. I posted the QB ratings of all those guys, are you saying that those guys weren't the reason their teams won in the Playoffs, either?

It’s literally two separate sentences and points.

CJ was absolutely not the reason we won last season. The defense was. His passer rating is swayed by the Cleveland game where he had 3 TDs in 23.
He wasn’t good against the Chargers. Was ok against the Ravens the year before. Was ok against the Chiefs.
The only playoff game you can say he was more responsible for winning was the Cleveland game
