Who’d of thought 7th round picks could net you pro bowl quality players. Nick needs to score more 7th picks to use as collateral…

It's PFF...take it with a grain of salt. Just another set of data...and like salt, too much of it is bad for you.

    Fans: “Nick, do something!!!”

    Nick: *does something*

Fans: “WTF is that? OMG, Nick is horrible” You were suppose to do what I wanted you to do!

WILL ANDERSON JR every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I was an advocate of taking Anderson at 2 if we didn't move up. In my mind, I still think of the trade being for CJ and not WAJ. The order was just determined by what it took to make the trade by taking CJ off the board.

There's a case to be made for not doing the WA trade and making a small trade up for Jalen Carter plus keeping the 2024 1st. However Caserio/Ryans were looking for star level and leaders in the locker room type guys. They found those culture setting the tone players in CJ/WA and we as Texans fans should be very happy Caserio/Ryans got there guys. The Texans org is in very good hands because of these very bold moves. Very unlike what the Texans org would've done with Bob McNair owning the team or RS/BOB running the team.

That's A LOT of win for BDN in that trade...don't think AZ ever picks up the phone again if they see a 281 or 713 area code

Depends on the GM. They would pick up for O’Brien immediately

Jalen Carter fell because, for one, he was unable to finish his Georgia Pro Day workout because he was so out of shape. He was also facing legal issues due to street racing.

In defense of Nick, it's not like he can say "Yea, the OL I've drafted are dog ****".

Agreed and my post still stands.

Caserio/Ryans made the right call on CJ/WA.

I didn’t realize Bullock was a part of the Will Anderson trade. Wow, Texans did very well for themselves with that trade.

I don’t know much of the other players received by the other team, but Anderson and Bullock are very good players for the Texans.

In my dreams, I hoped there was enough kickback that he would still be available at 12 to go with WAJ at 2. I would have missed CJ entirely.

We gave up a lot to get WA but it was a great trade for us because we got the only elite DE in that draft and I will argue there wasn't an elite DE in last year's draft either. Elite DE's are rare.

So are elite DT's, which is why I'm not totally against drafting Nolen or Harmon.
