lol ahhahahhaha you're right. You go to UH....then you know about how the center lane turns left on cullen under 45....a lot of ppl do that on scott to. ive been doing it for years...i guess you cant, cuz after i got the ticket, i went back to see if there was a left turn sign there, and there wasnt. when i made the LEGAL left for the 2nd time, i saw that same cop, pull over another car....he probably could get a good 10+ people everyday. i bet he shows up in court too. I can take defensive driving for $100 or call that lawyer Rocketman Tex recommended....we'll see.
My friend got his home broken in to. He knew who did it, some guys that live down the street. He looked into their car in their driveway and saw his LCD TV and his PS3 with all his games sitting in the backseat. He called the cops, filed a report, got the detectives involved, AND THEY DID NOTHING! He filed it all on insurance and got some money out of it, but the theives didn't get into any trouble.
I got my first ticket a couple months ago... paid the court fees for defensive driving and now it won't be on my record, plus I'll be getting a discount on my car insurance. All and all it cost me about $150 for the entire process.
the cops suck ive told this story before but two years ago, we played the nuggets (march 10th), and after teh game i went to my parents house. I got there around 1am only to find a bunch of cops at my house. turns out there was home invasion. mom and dad were tied up with a gun to their heads, and 3 others took wahtever they wanted. it's a really nice neighborhood too. houses are about 300,000 to 500,000.... filed a report...nothing happened after that. at least say that "we tried and there's no way of finding out who did this" or "the chances of finding these people are small"......we never heard from them again...
they're asking $103 from me. i guess it depends on the violation...or maybe there are a bunch of extra fees i dont know about yet
yeah thats about right... add in the 25-40 bucks for the class and then a little more for your driving record and it adds up to about 150.
