McHale obviously didn't want to give up an uncontested shot from out of bounds...

Coaching does NOT matter much during the REGULAR season.

During the play offs where every possession counts, dodgy coaching destroys you.

Absolute failure by the front office to have a clause that Sampson can leave knowing that McHale is not an X's and O's type of coach.

players should have seen what was happening, it was such a simple play. anyone could have stepped into the passing lane and prevented the pass.

here is mchale post game. he basically says that the defensive play was exactly what he wanted.

is he serious or is he being a standup guy and taking the blame so the players don't?

This is because the offense doesn't know how to run screen plays properly.... Hence the defense doesn't know how to stop screen plays that ARE run properly.

Aside from "Moreyball", this might be the biggest reason why the Rockets have consistently underperformed in the postseason.

Why are people bringing up the fact that we had a foul to give? It was 0.9 seconds left and Parsons couldn't keep up with Lillard where were we going to foul?

With his quick release at 0.9 trying to foul would have been a disaster.

Can everyone who follow morey twitter keep sending "pls fire mchale!!!" Twit. Keep twitting until morey GET the message. Flood his email, colleagues email, write blogs, columns, every website forums, suggestion box, anything u can think of.

The rockets deserves better than this. What a waste of talent.

    The way I see it...

If Mchale told parsons to guard Llilard, then he should be fired for being an inferior coach.

If the team switched assignments because harden told them to, then he should be fired for not having control of the team.

Either way, I'm sick of our opponents scoring so many points on us.

Because there's no time for the inbounder to get the ball back so he's irrelevant.
