I think it's gonna have to be Harden... who else is left?? I don't know that putting Parsons on Matthews helps much if Harden then gets Batum.

Agree. Lillard over rated. Aldridge is the big problem. He has to be doubled teamed.

yup agree. go at him hard, get him into foul trouble and keep him on the bench. that's the best way to defend him.

That will also work to take him (Lillard) out of his game overall. He seems prone to temper tantrums anytime he picks up a foul.

Beverly or Harden. When Harden is focused, he has the size and athleticism to be the best perimeter defender on the team.

You guys are crazy. Lillard is clutch. Except when Bev smile at him.

I don't think Wolverine gets stronger after being hurt. Just back to 100 percent. Saiyans get stronger. I'm a nerd.

Bev is there to defend. No point in playing Bev if Lillard isn't playing. Therefore, Bev will be out there whenever Lillard is out there and resting whenever Lillard is on the bench.

Disagree. I am very comfortable with the mismatches.

Parsons has always amazed with how nimble his footwork is. He can definitely stay in front of Lil and his size would affect Lil's jumpshot for sure.

Lin as lead-footed, he has no chance against lil or Mo Williams, but has enough size to take on Wes Matthews.

T Jones on Batum in fact may be better than TJones on LMA.

If Harden takes LMA, DH12 is free to sag to the rim.
Or, if DH12 is on LMA, you can hide Harden on Lopez to let him catch his breath.

In fact I am more comfortable with this coverage than straight up.

You've got to be kidding me - Parsons is slow in every direction.

Lin has shut him down before.

Based on history of our match up with them, I'd put Lin on Lillard.
But who knows, our coach is McHale.
Besides, Lin is on the bench, how can he guard Lillard.

We all know Lin's lateral movement sucks, well, Harden is even worse. If Harden guards Lillard, you will see a lot more blow by, and then we pray Harden can actually reach the ball with that poke from the back move.

The majority of Lillard's points in this game were scored with Bev guarding him. I believe Bev is more of a disruptor and pest on defense as opposed to a complete shutdown defender. His defense style can lead to lots of turnovers. However, his BBall IQ is not yet at a level where he can prevent the other player from going off without getting into foul trouble, which is the mark of an elite defensive specialist.

This is the misnomber between Bev and Lin. Bev can score as well and create if he wants to while Lin is a sustainable defender more so than a scorer these days.

I want both to take turns.
No Parsons and No Harden please.

Any someone please guard LMA, he is the real threat.

Lillard is containable with the combination of PB and Lin. The secret to going against players like him is make him work defensively, so PB and Lin need to be more aggressive offensively.

With that said, probably the better question is who's guarding L.A. and Matthews?
Those two will be a bigger defensive headache for us because we are especially not good at guarding the 2 and 4.

I hope to see what defensive schemes Mchale has planned and whether the players assigned to the task can step it up defensively. If they can't, this will be a very long series.

Lin will guard him and be aggressive against him on the offense end.
