Patrick Beverley will be on Lillard during the first and last minutes of the game, but who will guard Lillard when Beverley is resting?

I would love to see a combination of Francisco Garcia and Jeremy Lin.

You'll see a combination of players. Chances are Lillard will be sitting too when Bev is resting.

If he's on a roll, I could see Parsons or Harden checking him. I'd like to see Lin on Matthews.

Garcia would foul out if he guards Lillard.

Bev on the court everytime Lillard is on. No buts.

I'm interested to see how Beverley's knee affects his lateral movement. There's plenty of rest between games, but these meniscus injuries are pesky. The swelling comes the next day, and there is lingering soreness (on this injury, I sadly speak from personal experience).

I like his toughness, but he should call Brandon Roy and see what happens when you rush back from a meniscus injury.

Unless Bev's injury resurfaces, he will be on Lillard practically every minute Lillard is on-court.

Lin is a better matchup against Lillard. He's bigger and taller. But with this coaching staff, we're stuck with Bev on Lillard. Hopefully, Bev can take advantage of Lillard's lack of defense on the other end because that is key.

Nup, I disagree but your suggestion is something McHale is likely to do.

Parsons and Harden couldn't guard a lamppost. Why in the hell would you put them on Lillard... especially Parsons who has proven he cant guard PGs.

Matthews is big and strong and the type of player Lin struggles with, on the other hand, lin defends smaller quicker PGs well.

No one else other than Bev and Lin with big helping out.

Lin on Lillard isn't that bad.

Lin on Mo Williams is a different story and a bad match up for the Rockets... Lin CAN'T stay with him.

It's almost if Lin on Lillard and Bev on Williams is a better matchup for the Rockets, but since Williams play backup min, that doesn't make sense to do.

let's be quite honest, lillard isn't even that good, he's a low percentage high volume guy, Lin and bev can both handle him. Don't let him the open 3s obviously since he's got a good 3 pt shot, but otherwise let him jack all the shots he wants. Also force him left, he carries the ball when he goes left and is obviously not as good going left. Aldridge is the bigger issue (literally).

i'd leave bev on lillard as long as lillard is on the floor, and rest bev when lillard rests.

    pretty simple.

LOL, do you even watch the Rocket games? Harden does not defend. He is a GREAT offensive player. Parson can't defend PGs, this was tried on Chris Paul.
