Damian Lillard .9 second shot... or is it..

    you can stop both by being directly in front of Batum so whatever pass he had to make it would be at a higher trajectory. Jones was protecting the paint but that would be Aldridge vs Howard for a 2 that would just tie. Aldridge just would be catch and shoot - Howard knows that and could play much more aggressively on defense.

    Instead Lillard made a tough shot but it was a very easy catch for him and if Jones was just on him the delay of a bounce pass or a lob may have allowed Parsons to get up closer to effect the shot more.
