Aren't you mad cause Harden requested a trade
When his best teammate was "Not played in 2 yrs" John Wall and Christian Wood????

I dont get the problem here. Lillard was with the organization for 11 years. they have missed the playoffs the last two years and had two first round exists the years before. It basically has been 5 years since the organization was relevant. And I don't think the team will be relevant in the next two seasons either. Lillard is already almost 33 years old, the clock is ticking for him.

He has been loyal to his organization. More loyal than most, that are as good as he is and that had as little success as his team had. So yeah, he can be too solid for this era while still figuring out, that if he wants to win a ring, he might need to get to another team.

My only gripe with Dame is the way he’s covered and talked about. Consistently rated with the same group of guys who are playoffs locks(when healthy) regardless if they have a **** team. And he’s not been that, which with the addition of the play in makes it even more questionable why he can’t drag **** to the 10th seed?

If he had not spoke on others...no one would care
If he had not pumped himself up as the paragon of loyalty over rings
    How rings were not important
    Etc etc

Imo all that was just cover so he looks good taking that 60 mil a season bag

Now he just a greedy hypocrit

Too solid for any other team (than Miami)

    I agree with Broussard.

First Things First is the best sports show.

It's a monstrosity, but most teams get what they want.... Philly may be salty, but BRK has little sympathy

    LAC-MIA-PHI-POR

LAC: Harden (PHI) + Nurkic (POR)
Clippers have a Big 3 + depth to compete with Suns and Nuggets.

MIA: Lillard (POR) + House (PHI) + Preston (LAC)
Heat get their target to make another Ship run.

PHI: Herro (MIA) + Lowry (MIA) + 2028 LAC FRP + right to LAC FRP swap (2027 or 2029)
76ers get some Beard replacements + hometown hero in Lowry.

    POR: Mann (LAC) + Jovic (MIA) + Morris (LAC) + Covington (LAC) + Batum (LAC) + Korkmaz (PHI) + MIA FRPs (2027 + 2029) + MIA FRP swaps (2028 + 2030) + $$$ from MIA & LAC
Buy out Korkmaz + Batum. Hold on to Morris & Covington until trade deadline. Pick up young + promising players in Mann + Jovic. Get 4 FRPs.

Portland might be backed into a corner but man that trade would suck for them. Rockets ought to somehow get in on this.

If Portland falls for that dumb opinion that they owe Damian Lillard the only winner here will be Pat Riley.
