[Dallas News] Road to Title won't be Easy Street - Rockets mention

I don't know if the Spazz winning a series vs. Houston would be considered an "upset." A 4 vs. 5 series like that is usually pretty evenly matched. Perhaps a 7 game grind would open some eyes to Utah's worthiness as an opponent to the rest in the west... But an upset is more reserved for a 1 vs. 8, or 2 vs. 7 I would think.

Something I am counting on in the first round for Dallas.

Right now though, Houston and Utah are on about the same speed...

What I am hoping for is an old fashioned Utah beating like the days of folklore... when Houston would win in a 4 to 1 fashion, or even a sweep would do.

 

As well as the Jazz are playing right now, I believe we'll still come out victorious in the playoffs. Boozer has been their Gibraltar all season but I think our Hayes/Howard combination can contain him to a certain extent. It's all about how our guards do against Deron.

 

yeah im REALLY hoping that we can beat Utah in 4-5 games, and the Mavs get to about 6-7 games. we need all the help we can get with the Mavs. but the chances of both of those things happening at the same time is slim to none.

I would honestly be upset if the Mavs got upset in the first round. Make no mistake about it, I want Dallas. I want revenge. I want to see the crushed look on their smug-ass faces when they realize that their false sense of entitlement was, like the rest of their pointless lives, just a Gadsbyatic facade. I want to see them vividly experience each blatant level of coping. Denial, fear, anger, blame, everything. I want their children to cry.

I haven't seen anyone not showing respect to the Rockets opponents.

 

I doubt that. The Rockets are a better defensive team and if the Rockets get to the WCF that means the Rockets are playing great basketball.

 

To bad they won't be facing Utah in the 2nd round.
