DAMN i was looking up Houston musicians, and i found out just now that Bryan-Michael Cox is from Houston.. WTF.. this dude is a legend, and i never knew he was from houston. hes been responsible for so many hits by aaliyah, usher, janet, chris brown, trey songz, etc etc.. wow been a fan of him for a ahile, i always thought he was based out of atl for some reason.. his wiki says he went to HSPVA with Beyonce..
Banks in Uptown Dallas must be like ghost towns since nobody up there has ever heard of a savings account.
Anyone who cares what this homer girl thinks about how her home city compares to theirs has an inferiority complex. Her explanations read like high school yearbook material. Oh, and Dallas sucks.
I was gonna write as a post "And at least here in Houston we don't kill Presidents".....but it seemed a tad harsh. Maybe, "...we don't have the legacy of Dealey Plaza". Still too harsh?

this. It's comically bad without one fully laid out intelligent idea as for underbelly. I thought it was good but my world wasnt completely rocked.
Let me guess: grew up in the Houston burbs, then did some travelling? Because that's an apples and oranges comparison. Houston's inner-loop areas, most notably Midtown, Washington and Rice Village, aren't where people go to raise kids. They have every bit the "young" vibe that uptown Dallas does. Unfortunately, most people compare the Houston they grew up in (burbs) to nightlife areas wherever they take trips, and the unfortunate stereotypes continue. P.S. Downtown Dallas is even more deserted than downtown Houston during non-working hours, so I'm not sure where you're going on that one. It's scary.
EXACTLY what I was gonna post. I was having this argument with a co-worker a few weeks ago who was also from Houston, and he was telling me how much it sucked. I asked him where he grew up and he said "Clear Lake." Well no ****, you didn't grow up in Houston
Yeah, I rarely ever see kids or even teenagers in the area of the inner loop where I live. It's mostly young (30's to 40's) professionals who like to move around, socially interact and live, not just sit in their man cave and watch their bellies grow by the second.
im still shaking my head at the durrough comment and her saying "the verdict: dallas".. durrough.. durrough. who the fccuk is durrough. i really had to google this dude. he has close to 200k followers on twitter. he isnt even as popular as a guy who is on the bottom of the totem pole of houston rappers, kirko bangz.. kirko has half a million twitter followers and a song that charted #1 on billboard.. durrough.. smh
I've met a lot of people from Dallas, and I lived in Houston for years. Though both towns have a lot of douchebags, people from Dallas are far more likely to think being a douchebag is a good thing.
You are right about me. But how would you compare Uptown Dallas to the areas in Houston that you listed? I was pretty impressed with Uptown Dallas when I was there and don't think Houston's matches up as well.
