Now we will have fellow Texans pulling for GB and for Rodgers who will likely steal JJ Watts MVP. Is there no shame?
I'm a Green Bay fan as well as a Texans fan so I want them to win x2 . I think the Cowboys have a great shot at upsetting though. That pass rush has to get pressure against the GB O-Line (which is overrated IMO, but still pretty good) or Rodgers will have a field day. Good thing the Cowboys pass rush isn't that good. They also need to establish the run against an improved GB run defense since moving Clay inside.
Green Bay is the only team left I fear. Cowboys are a different team on the road, much much much better than they are at home. 8-0 this year in the regular season. But Aaron Rodgers in GB is pretty much unbeatable so it will be a very tough task.
It's weird because I feel like the Cowboys are the only team that can come into Lambeau and win. Seattle is only scary at home but you've guys have already beaten them there, though I think if you guys advance and play them, it'll be a much different story. 8-0 on the road vs 8-0 at home.
Aaron Rodgers is already the best player in the league. Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau is basically playing in cheat mode. If the Cowboys had a top 10 defense, I would be more confident. But Aaron is going to tear this defense to pieces. Our only hope is the offense comes to play and just hope something goes our way near the end of the game. Our offense is too balanced for Seattle's D. We beat Seattle earlier this year pretty much with our C+ game.

I'm not surprised you would have a butthurt detector. This season is reminding me of how insufferable most Cowboy fans are.
I agree the call was questionable at best and wrong at worst, but why is this relevant? A defender is not required to turn around for the ball in the NFL. Faceguarding is legal. This seems like one of those revisionist history things to blame the loss on a call. Detroit went 3-and-out on their possession before the call. Dallas had scored on their 3 of their 4 previous possessions (the 4th being a missed FG). After Dallas got the ball back on the punt, Detroit immediately held them to a 3-and-out, except that Dallas went for it on 4th-and-long and converted. On that drive, Detroit then forced two more 3rd-and-longs and failed to get stops. Detroit then had another drive that they moved the ball 40 yards before fumbling. A momentum switch would indicate Dallas started playing better or Detroit started playing worse after the play. Neither really happened. Detroit didn't suddenly collapse after the play - they had numerous good defensive plays and had several chances to stop Dallas from scoring. Dallas had already scored (+1 missed FG) on its last 4 drives, and they just continued do the same on the drive after after. Detroit was already playing mediocre offense (2 FGs, 4 punts, 1 INT, on their previous 7 possessions), and that's what their final drive looked like too.
Completely agree. There were quite a few momentum swings for Detroit on bad calls in the first half. It happens. Detroit's inability to score more than 3 points in the second half, not going for it on a manageable fourth down, and a miffed ten yard punt were all greater factors than the "non-call". Also, Lawrence fumbling a fumble recovery was quite a break that they failed to capitalize on. Detroit did not lose this game on one call that occurred with 8 minutes to play.
Didn't Seattle have two of their key defenders out that game? I think I remember that. I'm not discounting that the Cowboys won in Seattle because I don't think any other teams beat them there this season (or last? maybe one). but, Cowboys were definitely playing better football at the time than Seattle...because Seattle had Golden Tate issues trying to run the ball through him and traded him after the game. I think Seattle was missing Lynch, too, weren't they? It's going to be tough to repeat that success in Seattle again if they get there...which is doubtful.
Referees apologize for missing holding call on that 4th down conversion to witten. Would have been 4th and 16 with that call
Wow! Man, screw the NFL! I would rather they call the game right than anything else. If they can't do their jobs and it turns into a second-guessing apology fest afterwards, then it's all just a bunch of malarkey. Refs have to be held accountable! I'd personally rather have the Cowboys lose then be given gifts throughout a victory that were at key moments in the game. I'm a Cowboys fan but they should either win the right way with the right calls or the refs should STFU after the game because all these apologies and what-ifs are seriously a bummer, man...A BUMMER. Why don't they just reverse the decision on who won the game then? I don't care. While they are at it, why don't they apologize for not calling what appeared to be Parnell holding on the Cowboys winning TD pass? I swear it looked like holding. I'm sure there are more examples on both sides of the ball we can find for even more apologies. SUCK IT...NFL!

LOL I'm not butt hurt at all. The Lions got royally screwed on that call. I'm a bit surprised that I really didn't see any Cowboys fans on Houston roads this week like I usually do. Maybe they are aware that it was a BS call and their team is shamefully crawling to the divisional round. I would be ashamed too and wouldn't display my cowboy pride if i was a fan.
