Double fail because 15 isn't even very close to 22. 7 more wins is still quite a way to go. The more you win the tougher they get because the target on your back grows more and more. the last 7 will be a ton more difficult than the first 7.

LOL why does this even matter? The rox don't own the longest streak in the NBA, all the Dallas streak will do is bump us down from 2nd place to 3rd.

As stated a few times in this thread, the record was set by the Lakers. It was great to watch the Rockets win 22 in a row but I'm not going to get worried if a team is near 22 straight wins.

Records are meant to be broken.

If the Mavs didn't lose to the Bucks, they would have beaten Miami, Orlando, and a couple of other great teams (Spurs too, I think?) on their winning streak.

More power to them, if they can / could have done it.

Me too. That validated a special season and they were going to be a tough out. The 22 game streak was just a streak with nothing behind it to me.

This is the strangest winning streak I've ever seen. Usually a team is healthy (or missing just one player) when they make a long run like this. Boston is missing numerous players, some games as many as five of their top ten: Perkins, Shaq, Jermaine, Rondo, and West.

During their current streak, they've often started a 4th string center, rookie Semih Erden. Most teams don't even have a 4th string center. They have no true point guards left.

They're even playing poorly some games, like last night. But they keep winning, even against good teams.

    It makes no sense.

Didn't the Mavs have a 12, 13 and 17 game winning streak in 2006/2007? where did that lead to? a first round exit as a no.1 seed

The Mavs are premiere chokers in the playoffs, no one is scared of them especially the defending champs

This Mavs team doesn't have a lot of playoff experience depth and they're going to burn out come April

All of the top teams have had long winning streaks this season
Just goes to show how top heavy the league is

None of them will get past 22 though, just goes to show how unbelievable it was to win that many in a row

Huh? The Mavs have multiple guys who've been to the Finals and almost everyone on their depth chart has gone deep.

True, the 1994 start was amazing. And not just 15-0, but also 22-1!
