Stupid defense by the Blazers. They have to collapse on LeBron further out than 4 feet from the basket. Allowing him to iso Outlaw was idiotic.

Outlaw has been completely intimidated by LeBron since he got his corner jumper blocked. That last brick was evidence. I can't remember anyone else the entire season getting their hand on one of Outlaw's long jumpers.

The Blazers are probably going to lose now but did you guys see that last possession? Two extra shots from offenisve boards that they got because of their length and athleticism. The Blazers will usually get those long rebounds, especially late in games when the intensity is high. The Rockets don't have that element in their game.

True that. Outlaw's shots are nearly impossible to block. A testament to James' length and athleticism.

Wow, Mo. Can you say bonehead? That could have been costly.

and mo william's stupid ass pass instead of waiting to get fouled prevents cleveland from setting the turnover record with only 1 with only 18 seconds to go. they settle for the tie with 2.

and while he fouled roy the next 2 times, that block by lebron was why i said i'd take him for one defensive possession. because he just might do something freakish like block a 3 pointer after covering a ton of ground. although outlaw seemed to take forever to shoot it.

If your talking about the pump fake and then drawing the foul, then yes we do have someone that TRIES it...his name is Scola (he has just been sucking at it lately)

Btw weren't you the one who started that Yao thread telling all the haters to suck it? (or something like that) If so...how the hell are you not banned yet? LOL

The Cavs won,but I get the feeling that they are missing Ben Wallace's experience. This could hurt them down the road.
The loss of Aldridge and Batum hurt the Blazers. I would like to see them get well. It was a good night for us though to see them and the Mavs lose.

Brandon Roy is the most underrated player in the league. im tellin ya, he plays so smart! team player, him and kobe are the best at finding open spaces and getting to them. the thing i love about him is he doesnt wine or show off, not like kobe missing an open dunk and expects a call. Roy is a very respectable player

I don't think either of them are underrated, I think under appreciated might be more of a correct word. Joe Johnson is somewhat underrated because he gets lack of respect. It's nothing shocking when he scores over 30 because he's clearly capable of doing that.

Ahh...good losses today. Portland goes down hard. I hope to God we meet them in the first round.

We'll own in Oregon and Texas.

You might be on to something here. The Rockets and Celtics games are the most recent that most people around here would've watched.

People complain about how the media underestimates the Rockets, and yet those fans make the same cursory analysis of other NBA teams. But I digress...

Lebron w/ another triple dub BTW. And needless to say Roy is a lot of fun to watch and easy to root for.

The Cavs beat another Western conference team. And it gives the Rockets another inch of space in the playoff race.

I'm not as confident as you. The Rockets don't likely have the offense to pull away from teams, especially in a playoff setting, and Portland is one of the best teams in close games because of their length, athleticism and individual scoring ability. I have only watched maybe 8 or 9 Blazers games this season but they seem to get 2nd and 3rd scoring chances regularly late in games. The Rockets have a problem dealing with that kind of length and athleticism.

The Blazers actually have the best record in the league in games decided by 3 points or less (8-1), which I wasn't surprised to see. I think they could do anything from lose in the first round to pulling off a shocker and making it to the WCF, despite their youth and struggles on the road.
