That's the bottom line. And there are only a couple of games left on their schedule that CAN make them pay. From this point, the Cavs should be able to sleepwalk to finishing with the best record. This game is a microcosm of the last month with only the Rockets and Celts making them pay.
They haven't played like a great team in a while. Right now (even after the Sixers loss), I'd have to say the Lakers are playing the best. It's hard to judge the Celts since KG has been out but it's safe to say they aren't as good as last season. I don't consider the Magic contenders. Take your pick of those 4.
Wow, Lebron totally got suckered into the foul. ...And now everyone who's watched the Cavs for the 2nd or 3rd time this season will come out of the woodwork and say how horrible of a defender he is.
So basically lebron gave the cavs a point lead then gave up four points to portland for free...wow he choked hopefully he can make up for it in these last 3seconds or in OT
Before, I thought the blazers would be a good match-up for the rockets in the playoffs. But now I change. No rocket could outplay Roy!
The Blazers are deadly in close games. They are so long and athletic allowing them to grab loose balls on both ends. They also have multiple good scorers led by Roy. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go deep in the playoffs despite their youth and struggles on the road. I wouldn't be shocked if they lose in the first round either if that makes any sense.
You know, has LeBron played worse than normal on national TV? I watch the Cavs quite a lot and see the big picture, but the way people post here, I'm guessing many of LeBron's worst plays/games have been on TNT/ESPN/ABC and his great games are not. abc2007, I like the Blazers but they will be an easy out in the playoffs. Don't let this game fool you.
the cavs have only 1 turnover for the game. that must be an NBA record if they can keep it at 1. Anyone have the official record?
I found this on Wiki. Not sure if it's accurate. Fewest turnovers in a game 2 - by Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers on 1 April 2006 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_records
