But, it was a tie game even before the call, so the call not necessarily cost us. But still ruck the refs.
Why did the kings want to win this game? Losing only can increase their chance to get no.1 pick. They played an entertaining game for their audience, and that was enough!
This has most likely been answered elsewhere, but hopefully someone can shine some light for me on this one. Say Houston wins the remaining two games and goes 54-28 (Division Record: 10-6, Conference Record: 36-16) but as well, San Antonio wins their remaining two games and finishes 54-28 (Same divisional record & same conference record). Their season series ended 2-2, so who would get the division title/higher seed in the playoffs?
Winning or losing made no difference for them. They would have finished with the worst record either way.
I think there's going to some serious b****ing an screaming about this game. Rockets FO will call. Blazers FO will definitely call. I mean what a screw up.
I am glad these teams play to win. The league is ****ty enough with the poor reffing and the star treatment of players without bottom teams calling it quits when they know they're out and tanking every game.
Exactly the rule is stupid because they can go back at anytime and check to see if your foot is on the line like they did to Brooks the other night but they can only check buzzer beaters at the end of the qrts.....Just a stupid stupid rule. Damn the Rockets needed the Spurs to lose.... I hate Parker and the Spurs and tomorrow Duncan will play so they'll win that one.........
As I said before I am pretty sure it goes to record against the teams in the West Playoffs... last I checked we were up in this one but it could have changed. We have two teams left that are in the playoffs though to boost or lower this record.
sas v sac...robbed! 95-92 spurs win as finley hits a 3 with 1.9 seconds left that was CLEARLY after the shot clock. no one reviewed it. grr!
Rockets because you then go to record against Western Conference teams which Houston has that Edge over the Sperms
Didn't check anything, just had their little discussion and decided it was good. Ref1: You think the Kings could win on the last shot. Ref2: not sure Ref3: Well...Spurs would definitely take it in Overtime. Ref2: But we'd leave about 1.3 on the clock...to much time lets not give them much of a chance. Ref1: I agree, gotta get home early anyways. Nah I kiddin...I think they missed it because of the red light not coming up on the backboard and the buzzer sounded...off...still though...not really understanding why this isn't reviewable but if it were the end of the 2nd qtr it would be...
come on you ppl act like the queens had any chance of winning in overtime when they choked a 10+ point lead away.
well its the last kings game, plus fan appreciation night. im pretty sure the kings would like to end at home on a high note
Kings like to sell tickets! Pissed off fans = Buy less ticket. The Kings organization needs to file a formal complaint and demand compensation for lost revenues.
Yup, they definitely wanted to win. I guess they could have still finished ahead of the Clippers because of the tiebreaker but they wanted to win.
