lol. great point. sean elliot was moaning about that during the broadcast of that game... but natural human reaction time is different than blatant negligence by the refs.
The Blazers have 28 losses. If we and the Blazers win out we get home court due to a better H2H record. If we and the Spurs win out we get home court due to a higher winning percentage against the west playoff teams.
Whoops never mind. I didn't realize you said with the thinking that we could just toss the gmae in Dallas.
nba is fixed... common sense does not prevail in the nba... clearly the refs weren't gonna let SA lose this game
can someone tell me how this affects our playoff seedings??? but this is a total bull**** call... THE REFS KNEW AT THE BACK OF THEIR MINDS THAT IT WAS A SHOTCLOCK VIOLATION!!! Except Stern was never gonna let the Spurs lose this
I don't agree that this was some Stern-triggered fix as you are suggesting but I can tell you that it means we may have to work a little harder to win the division. If the Spurs had lost last night and were to lose either of their last 2 games, we would have been able to win the division by winning 1 of our last 2 games. If the Spurs had lost last night and were to lose both of their remaining games, we could have lost both of our remaining games and still won the division. Since the Spurs won, if they beat the Hornets, we have to win out in order to win the division. If they lose to the Hornets, we have to go 1-1. If we go 0-2, we can't win the division under any circumstances.
