Couldn't tell from that angle if that was a slip or a little push to get separation.

Agreed - once the first call was missed, it was missed. After that, it was clearly a mugging.

Certainly a foul and more than that a complete hack job. I don't see how you 'let them play' when a defender does a karate chop to the forearms on a shot. I have to wonder about the decision to attack the basket and rely on the refs to call the foul if necessary, though. Harden was lucky to have gotten hit hard, the refs saw it, and the refs chose to blow the whistle.

    1. Are you questioning Harden's decision or MDA's decision to call that play.
    2. If you are fine with the play call with 2.2 seconds left on the clock, then are you suggesting the play is fine, but Harden should have done a step back?
    3. Sure, Harden can do a step-back, if denied getting past Matthews and Bogut for a layup.

He attempts game-winning step backs all the time (just like MJ did), so I have to believe he (being an Elite NBA Scorer) made the choice to continue going downhill vs step back. He beat his man and cleanly got past Bogut on a Eurostep. This isn't "rely on the refs", this is what fast, strong finishers do. Harden can score threw a lot of contact, and in this case, Matthews had to catch up and hack him from the side. So he made the split second decision (and a correct one) to take it all the way vs doing his step back.

You make it sound like the scenario is help defenders reaching in as he tries to get threw them. The help defender, Bogut, was toast on the Eurostep and Harden saw that.

No? Don't see how you can backseat driver that decision to say he chose to rely on the refs vs legitimately chose the easiest scoring opportunity.

Why was Harden lucky to get hit hard? That's an easy 2 if he's not fouled. Harden was not relying on the foul....Matthews was relying on the refs swallowing the whistle.

No, the internet would break with a video that long.

I am finding some more illegal **** by Bogut in the second game. How about I paste those to the end of the Bogut Fact Checker clip?:D

Also need help choosing a song to dub over all the Bogut cheating.

Not a song that fits with most NBA videos, but The Gambler by Kenny Rogers seems appropriate.
