Maybe Paulie can join the douchebags from that MTV show, Jersey Shore.

I hope so too. I don't see Paulie turning it into a slugfest though. Juan is going to murder him if he does. Paulie needs to just box like he did last time. Maybe land a few more clean and convincing power shots.

I still think Juan takes it again. Without the bull**** scores though.

I thought Malignaggi won that first fight.

For some reason, I don't think he'll get redemption tonight though.

I see a Diaz knockout in the early rounds.

I was in Chicago this week, staying at the hotel where both fighters (and their entourages) were staying. I saw Juan down at the starbucks in the lobby and told him good luck. Really small guy in person.

Paulie's manager is obnoxious as hell - extremely loud and on his cell phone all day - I saw him 3 different times in the breakfast restaurant at the hotel.

Even though we root for the city..and its fighter it was unbelievably rigged. Malignaggi won the fight clearly imo

I thought Diaz would find a way to catch him even in a bigger ring. Not even close.

Even with the BS knockdown, Malignaggi deserved this fight. Other than a few spurts in the middle and later rounds, Diaz couldn't do anything. Malignaggi is too long and too fast. If you're the smaller guy, it's tough to do much if you don't have the speed advantage and your power isn't anything special.

Man, what the hell was that? That was not Juan Diaz fighting. Or at least he wasn't fighting like Juan Diaz. His corner has to take some blame for this one. I felt he did better the first fight. Sucks for Diaz and Houston. Losing to Paulie is bad enough, let alone a controversial decision in their first fight. I think Diaz should go back down to lightweight. He doesn't seem big enough for junior welter and his punches probably hurt more down around 130-135. I give him one more fight, if he loses, his days as a top level fighter is over.

I was thinking the exact same thing last night...and wondering it if was the corner...or if he's just not as good as I thought he was.

Someone needs to KO Paulie pretty quickly, though.

I was at the fight. It was pretty crazy I'd say 60% Diaz fans 40% Paulie fans. They had deuling chants all night "Paulie Paulie Paulie" and "Diaz Diaz Diaz." Juan just couldn't get off I can't explain it. He's going back to 135 for next fight let's see what happens.

JMM will knock out Paulie in late rounds. Just like he did Juan Diaz; I've never been impressed with the baby bull. Very one dimensional fighter.

More than likely JMM will go for bigger purse if Hatton fight happens.

besides the mega fight i'm looking forward to Vasquez vs Rafa Marquez IV

He may be one dimensional but when he fights his style, it sure is fun to watch. He's a more exciting fighter than 75% of the boxers out there. When Diaz fights, win or lose, fans win. See the JMM/Diaz fight which I think is Fight of the Year.

Please tell me that has been confirmed also.
