    This article, written by someone who has known Chen for some time, give a good summary of the work he did and the details of his escape and what happened after he reached the embassy.

    I thought those here who were outraged as the "betrayal" of the activist might be interested in reading this.


    And here's another first-person account for Jerome Cohen, who helped negotiated the deal with the Chinese government over Chen.

    basso only cares about issues like these if he can use them as a political weapon.

    In other words he doesn't care about the issue at all. He only cares about finding ways to bash the President of the United States.
