I appreciate different posters, for just that reason, they're different and have their own style. Have to say though, I'd throw DD in a trade for a superstar. Anything that makes us better
I just don't get all this Hate For DD. The guy is just a die hard Rockets fan .. and his opinions are better than most... At least his opinions have some reasoning behind it , unlike most of the posters here at clutchfans who's memory span for a particular player is not more than one game.
I think what goes unsaid a lot on this board is that we love ribbing DD because he's just such a visible figure. In that regard, I DO appreciate DD. Thanks man. You are to Clutchfans what Clutch the Bear is to the Rockets. Every once in a while a little kid will walk up to you trying to beat you up, and you have to let him do it because that's just who you are.
I don't really believe in jinxes, nor do I care much if someone has a view that is somewhat different than mine regarding the team or a specific player. Folks seem to spend a bunch more time than they need to trying to prove someone wrong. If you listen to commentators or read the Chronicle or ESPN etc, these guys are "wrong" all the time. Rocket's Talk was really a first class production for what it was, a Rocket's fan talking Rockets from his kitchen table. I would love to see someone do it better. The season has finally started, we have reason to be optimistic, no better time to hit us with a Rocket's Talk.
Enough about DD. Hate him or luv him it doesn't matter. What matters is the debate of whether to tank or not !
Speaking of banned what happened to all your rep points? Do you like lose them if you stop posting for some time?
I like DD. He brings spice to the board, sorta like Tinman. He is what a good troll should be, one that entertains and actually even makes sense sometimes, ala Skip Bayless. So, thumbs up DD, keep being yourself good sir.
Sarcasm aside, DD brings a lot to this community. Very opinionated poster, we might not agree with him at all times, but he is the "glu guy" on this forum. He's like our Shane Battier.
I really don't have much to add to this thread. If I post the rest of my life, I won't equal his posts from this coming year alone. LOL :grin: I just wanted to sign a post with my initials and this seemed like the appropriate thread to do it. Soooooo in honor of DD MH
Does anyone remember that thread where DD's face got put on that baby? That was perhaps the greatest moment in my clutchfans life.
As long as DD keeps jinxing our players and not some others I'll be happy. Great Job DD. your work is undervalued on the GARM.
