Is it? Bonzi constantly tries to do things he THINKS he is good at but it is obvious he is not. Example posting up, he SUCKS at that.... DD
When Bonzi gets the ball in the low post, it's a fastbreak basket waiting to happen for the other team.
I bet Bonzi will have a great game on Saturday. Remember what happened last time after denniscd made a Bonzi thread.
Yes and it's also a proven fact we only play the Spurs 4 times a year. What about the other 78 games? How many turnovers, bricked jumpers, missed layups, sloppy passes and airheaded/lazy mistakes on defense will it take to prove he's washed up?
Right now, there are no teams 1-8 that the Rockets can beat even with a 80% healthy McGrady in a 7 game series--not even Portland.
Well we can beat the Timberwolves and Knicks farily consistently. Of course we got owned by the Sacremento Kings and the Sixers. That should tell you something right there. Strangely enough, we have beaten the Suns and the Spurs.
What do you think I am doing when I would rather play Mike Harris than Bonzi? Harris is quicker, more athletic, and would probably work harder...... It is LONG term which I am thinking. Bonzi is gone this year.....good riddance. DD
And how much NBA playoff experience does the athletic Mike Harris have compared to Bonzi. Big picture is to get past the 1st round of the playoffs and the pre-season tweener Mike Harris is not going to come close to helping the rockets advance like a Bonzi Wells would do. To even compare the two is a joke.
Before his shoulder injury Bonzi was playing very good basketball, see Boston.... I also like Mike Harris, but Bonzi is in another league when healthy.... Kirk on the other hand....
Bonzi has a few good games where he cuts to the basket and dunks....that is great, more of that please. It is when he stagnates the offense on the low block and tries to post up...that he sucks at... And he has been a swinging gate on defense all year....."Here Bubba, it is your turn to score." DD
Well as I said in another post, Bonzi has one of the lowest guard ratings of our guards. His true shooting percentage is weak and his winning percentage on the floor. When he is on the floor he's one of the highest percentage guards jacking up a shot where he doesn't pass back out of it.
You're forgetting about our destiny of reaching and ousting the World Champs in the WCF!!!! Bonzi will shed all of the inconsistent play, all of the blown layups, all of the "I quit" text messages and at the ripe, young age of 30-something he will once again be that 26/13 guy the leads a team to almost, well not really that close to victory!!!!!
