I don't blame Wade for his wife's insanity. She is a fruitcake.

WTF? He's complained nonstop about his team for the past 2 seasons. This sounds more like a mancrush than the truth.

People will hate him if Miami wins multiple championships.

His game relies too much on flopping, drawing fouls and getting to the FT line for me to ever like him very much.

Wade also has sex in front of his kids, so, that's cool.

    Hogwash!
    (1) He lives in Miami, where the f%ck would he bail to??? His organization is fairly stable and smart with Riles at the helm.
    (2) He was smart enough to get the other two idiots to come play second fiddle to him so really he is just smart and I wouldnt give him any loyalty credit.
    (3) He used Chicago's interest in him and played on that when he knew he wasn't leaving Miami and Bosh and LBJ would be "bringing their talents to South Beach".

Since when did humility play a factor into liking the basketball ability of a player lol. None of us really know the players and God knows if the front they put on when the cameras going on is genuine or not. People need to quit worrying about a basketball players' life outside of the courts and assessing them based on that. Look at whats between the lines

Really I must have missed it. Regardless that team sucked anyway.
Seriously I would complain if I were the only good player on the team. Beasley was terribly inconsistent.. and the rest of the team were collectively worse than the majority of college teams in the NCAA.

Be that as it may, Dwyane Wade is still my favorite player in the NBA. **
Carmelo and Durant tied for second.

** After Yao, Lowry, Brooks, Scola, Battier, Ariza, Hayes, etc.

Don't have anything against him but I probably will when he sits back and lets his buddy Lebron pile up stats next year (which Lebron is good at) and only asserts himself in tight situations to bail Lebron out. Thus Lebron gets the stats and the ring, but we all know it won't be legit b/c he always knew Wade would be there to save his ass when the "Heat" was turned up.

...ya, I was going to comment on this too. His wife may be crazy, but if only half of what she says is true, he's still a douchebag...having sex with someone (not his wife no less) in front of your kids is about the most douchey thing you can do. I remember reading about that restaurant chain deal that had soured when the suit was first brought and it did not paint a flattering light on DWade at all. I think the guy is just very savvy at crafting his own image....but as for me, I don't trust him. I think when all is said and done he is going to end up tarnishing his image somewhat in the same way Isiah Thomas has. You can fool people some of the time, but not all of the time.

Everybody has skeletons in their closet, but his wife is in a very ugly custody and financial battle with him. It's quite possible that she is making up stories. The judges have thrown out a number of things that she has said. The restaurant deal thing sounds more plausible, but that has to be proven as well.

Just because his wife makes accusations doesn't mean ANY of them are true. She is so unstable there is no reason to believe a word she says. In fact, it's just probably more proof of her instability. It makes no sense to admit she's crazy and then say, "if only half of what she says is true".

I'm not saying Wade has been an angel or anything, but the extreme accusations of his wife appear to be a desperate ploy to keep custody of the kids.

    Well... it's true.
But he's no more cocky than Kobe is.

If he's cocky and wins championships well... you really can't say anything...
Same with Kobe you all call him a rapist... but look who has five rings this decade, while the Rockets had none.

 This guy claims to be a Rockets' fan. Hilarious. Is anyone fooled?

Listen, clown, winning rings does not make you "right", nor does it justify your actions. "He's a rapist but he has five rings" LOL. Quite possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever read. What's worse is what you are insinuating.

If you're cocky and you win championships, it's justified. Right. How old are you? I really need to know. Kobe has benefited from 1) playing with the most dominant C in the history of the NBA 2) playing with arguably the best coach in the history of the NBA. For the past 3 seasons, he's been on the a top-3 most stacked team in the league. You have to give him credit for winning, but it's hilarious how much of his privates you have in your face.

Kobe's 2005-2007 seasons were definitely full of win. No playoffs, 1st round, 1st round, and then demanding trade/throwing teammates/organization under the bus. Yeah, definitely a humbled winner by nature. Get a life and go to a Lakers forum where you belong.

Listen, homer, winning rings is all that matters in this league. A lot of Rockets fans here would probably want to win rings rather than having the all-nice team on our squad. And it's funny how you are pretty much attacking players for being successful. I'm sorry. Not every player can be like Hakeem and do it by himself. ALMOST NOBODY CAN. LeBron proved he couldn't, neither could Dwyane, and Bosh.

So you criticize Kobe for pretty much the same thing Tracy did? Yao has only got out of one round. Point I'm trying to prove here is what the **** are you smoking. Facts are facts. The only people that remember everything these players have done are the few trolls walking around this forums.

With the exception of the Utah Jazz... just because you are a Rockets fan doesn't mean you have to hate pretty much every other superstar in the league. I'm sure you yourself wouldn't mind if Kobe, Dwyane, and LeBron came down here to Houston and won us a myriad of championships.

You truly are a sad human being with all your blatant homerism.

Listen, idiot, my problem wasn't the fact that Kobe was winning championships, but how you are stupid enough to justify rape and mention the Rockets in the same sentence.

"Kobe may be a rapist, but he has 5 rings and the Rockets have zero and that's the most important thing in life" -- your logic. And it can't be translated into anything else.

Homerism? Do you know what that is? That's me coming out and saying things like the Rockets are going to win the championship this year, saying that they are the greatest team of all time and Yao is a top 5 player. I am much more intelligent than you and I don't make unrealistic predictions.

Criticize what Tracy did? Sure, why not. I have no idea what you are trying to get at. Quit grabbing arguments out of your ass and try to make some sense. Where did I say anyone can win a ring by themselves? So you agree that Kobe had loaded talent when he won "his" 5 rings? Talent that few others had this decade? Opportunity that no other perimeter player had?

You make little sense and I have no idea where your argument is headed. Try Lakersground.net. You might feel at home there, and people there may buy your logic.

Rape is OK as long as you win championships and the Rockets are fools for thinking otherwise!!!

True, but didn't they divorce due to Wade's adultery?
There ain't many role models in NBA. Most are no different from Tiger Woods.
