I assumed that you were trying to say that Wade having a higher percentage on these '2 point jumpshots' than some of the people i named made him a better or atleast comparable jump shooter. Then i got lost when i saw guys like Shaq, Nene, and Brevin Knight above Wade.

I'm assuming the range of this '2 point jumpshot' on 82games is a bit further in than the kind of jump shooting i was referring to (long 2's and 3's) and probably irrelevant to my point.

    You're backpeddling and it's obvious.

Wade has an outstanding jumper and his mid-range game is where he makes his bread and butter. His 3 point range isn't even atrocious either, it's just below average.

Wade has to be closer to the basket to be effective than some lesser wing players. If he had more range on his jumpshot he would be completely unstoppable. I don't understand how that's so outlandish to people. Maybe i clarified that i meant long range jump shooting instead of closer mid-range jumpshots but i haven't 'backpeddled' on anything.

Good defenders do back off of him and would rather he shoot a jumpshot. Obviously they don't want to give up a shot as close as the free throw line but he shoots poorly on long rang jump shots so they want to give him that. Many times when he does shoot a long jumper the D is so afraid of his drive that they don't even contest it.

wade still needs refs on his side, and he's not really a good sport, i don't knkow if you guys noticed, but say when he gets bumped by accident or something, he would just bump back on purpose, such as a nasty elbow on kobe's neck and got a technical

He's back to being the old Finals MVP DWade, but honestly I don't see him winning the MVP award because the Heat are just not that good.

    I will. :D

John Salmons and CJ Miles are better than Wade at finishing around the basket!! (68.5% and 67.7% on inside shots, don't try to ignore information!!)  :p

    **cough cough** ;)

There is no superstar in the league who plays as hard as Wade does. He's a freakin' monster right now, his numbers are just sick. He has always been my favorite player out of that draft class, just love the way he plays. He is a hard nosed, throwback type of player, and he is the most efficient superstar in the league (and has been, really, for a couple of years or so...at least dating back to when he was healthy).

You still have to take Lebron because he is just the best all-around player in the league and a monster in his own right, but my preference has always been Wade...just my own bias.

wade has a great mid-range game. nice form, nice release, and nearly unblockable.

Took MJ 5 years to break 30% from the 3 line, and his career av is a below par 33%. AI is 31% for his career too. LJ is 32%.

As long as Wade doesn't take too many 3s until his % gets better, it isn't a big deal--see the above playmaking wings.

A 3% shot is an overrated factor for a playmaker/creator. It would be nice if Wade developed it, but hardly a big thing if he doesn't.

I remember someone here saying the Olympic team didn't need him. That person has stayed in the closet. I remember someone saying (2-3 years ago) Shaq was part of the reason for Wade's greatness.
