Needs to stop fouling 3 point shooters though.

It's hard for Dirk to shoot over an active 7-footer. However DMo can't foul.

With DMo on him, the best shot selection Dirk had was to take him in the post. However even if he gets by DMo, he has Dwight waiting...

DMo was super solid today. Showed a lot of effort on the defensive end. Took some offensive boards, some charges & flops. His impact was huge.

I wish McHale would use his skillset in the post more, though.

D Mo was a big factor in us winning but Dirk had 38 points shut up with all this Dirk stopper crap. I saw Dirk post D Mo up drop step and score easily...

Parsons, Jones, Lin, Dwight...all took turns guarding Dirk. DMo didn't guard Dirk until the fourth quarter.

On that Phantom foul…if you watch it frame by frame in super slo-mo you can see where D-Mo swipes Dirk's aura…& if you zoom in you can just slightly see Cuban waving a cheque book around in the ref's line of sight.

Dirk did most of his damage on Tjones, Parsons and Lin.

Dirk definitely got tired... which is what most 35 year old players will do from time to time in the regular season.

Still went off for 38. Rockets really didn't have the ability to stop him, but he stopped being the focal point of the offense once D'Mo started guarding him.

His passing skills are so underrated. Little no look flip to bev was reminiscent of Big yao. Demo is also becoming a more inspired thespian. It's going to go a long way in his defensive efforts.

Demo no scared of wolves,Y would he be scared of non showering cave men?

DMo is doing what he needs to do to get playing time. I think not getting minutes early in the season has done him some good. He now knows he has to make an impact when he gets in the game. I'm happy for him.

That's BS DMo did the same thing to him in the preseason. Dirk can't shoot over him so easy. That preseason game Dirk got so frustrated with DMo he flagrant fouled himself out the game. DMo has Dirk's number and he is the best defender against him. He may not be a Dirk stopper but he is most definitely a Dirk slow downer. The sad thing is it took McHale half a season to figure it out, DMo D's.

yeah like 3 games before this I've been saying Dmo should defend Dirk. He has size over Dirk and can block his view. Glad they put him in and its only coz of Asik "injury" and other guys hurt too, that Dmo and Tjones have had an opportunity to play more minutes

Don't look now but the Rockets are about to be 3 games behind the spurs. Set your calendars for April and the Rockets vs the Spurs rematch in the Toyota Center. It could be for the division title.

Most of the shots that Dirk score were on the pnr switch with a smaller player. And on a lot of questionable foul calls (just like the pity senior calls that Vince C got)

Dont forget Parsons was guarding Dirk too and Tjones. Dmo play Dirk toward the 3rd and on the 4th mostly

Dmo just needs to play better defense on the PnR and stay w his man and try to no switch or over help on the roll.
