D-Mo reminds me of Zlatan Imbrahimovic

    For the people who hate soccer Zlatan is a great soccer player who played for the Dutch team Ajax in from 2001-2004. The thing with Zlatan at the beginning of his career was that you could see hem doing brilliant things, but at the same time really stupid plays. There was a lot of criticism on Zlatan during his time with Ajax. One of the most well-known Dutch soccer experts (Johan Cruijf) once said of him: "He has a good technique for a bad soccer player, and a bad technique for a good player". Meaning that he made stupid mistakes with easy moves, and did brilliantly with difficult moves. later Zlatan became one of the best strikers of the world.

    I see the same with D-Mo. When you see him playing he stumbles around missing easy shots and rebounds. But every now and then he makes a beautiful move in the post. You can see the talent with him. Of course he needs to become stronger, and reduce the stumbling and missing easy rebounds. But every now and then you see the talent, a 7 footer who moves like him and has the post moves he has is seldom seen.

    I believe his ceiling is really high, and if we give him enough time he will be a very good player, you just have to see past the clumsiness this year.

    Zlatan is known on a club and international level as a monumental choker. Let's hope he's not the Zlatan of the NBA

    Looks more like Zarko Carbarkapa or Zoran Planinic so far.

    I think you meant "Ibrahimovic".

    Zlatan is a popular figure in soccer lore. He's the type of guy who will score unbelievable goals, then get thrown out of the game for farting at a ref, then go get massively drunk and tell reporters he's God of Earth.

    Not really comparable to D-mo, in my honest opinion.

    Zlatan has never won a UCL. Whichever team he plays for does not win it but when he leaves for the next team, his previous go on to win it.

    Hope DMO does not have that curse with the NBA

    :mad::mad::mad::mad: Why didn't I check the spelling:confused::confused:

    Mo did you read my post? I believe D-mo is similar to Zlatan when he played for Ajax, you could see the potential, but it was hidden in clumsiness. I didn't mean their personality are similar.

    Donuts is more like Andy Carroll... shows promise in the beginning... and then disappearing almost as quickly as he appeared.

    So you're saying at one point he is going to score off of a bicycle kick from 30 yards out? Tight.

    I understand the point of the analogy and I agree with the OP that with time DMo will be our second star.

    Lol at the negative replies on here. Zlatan is arguably the best striker in the World atm, the LeBron of European Soccer in terms of physical strength/scoring/vision.

    D-Mo will never be a top 10 player in the NBA.
