Bargnani is a turd version of Dirk. Basically nothing like him lmao.
It would be great if D-Mo could be a lesser version of Dirk though they really aren't all that alike.

    Needs to be noted;
    Dropped out: Singler, Jonas Valanciunas

Who got dropped out of the ladder to make room for D-Mo.. :)

Man, you suck. While it's true that D-Mo doesn't have freakishly long arms, his arms aren't freakishly short either. He has an average wingspan for a white guy. His wingspan is actually way bigger than Cody Zeller's and marginally bigger than Tyler Zeller's. Enough with this inadequate hate.

Looks more like Beverley bumped him.

It's really hard to say man. They are complete polar opposites. Valanciunas (6'11") has freakishly long wingspan (7'4") as loves contact and to bang in the paint, is a great rebounder and has a nice touch (FT .733, although he can up that to .800).

Enough with these Dirk comparison comments. I really don't see Dirk in D-mo at all, D-mo is Scola 2.0, enough said. But I do see a little of Kevin Mchale in him though.

Just to point out some quick numbers.

    Dirk Rookie Season:

    20.4 mpg, 8.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.0 apg, 40% FG, 20% 3pt

D-Mo Rookie Season (last 7 games):

    17.7 mpg, 10.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.8 apg, 56% FG, 35% 3pt

Dirk to a big step forward from his rookie to his sophomore season so hopegully D-Mo can do the same

Jonas is not a bad Prospect. But I love D-Mo's work ethic and offensive skills. Potentially, I see D-Mo the better player at the end of their careers. Maybe im bias ;)

Yeah I wouldn't go that far

At this point. JV is still the better player, and with more potential

Bargnani was and still is lazy as fruck. Dmo has way more of a chance to be as good as Dirk just because of his crazy work ethic and constant desire to get better.

Actually Dmo was top5 on draft picks few years back, but managed to slip to top20. I think he is really underrated even now.

    U sure?

One thing I really like about D-Mo beside bball is his confidence, he is a leader by nature and such people in most cases reach the goal ! I kinda understand all community slagging him for defense , or too weak , but you should keep this in mind, D-Mo do not have game defense practice, so is takes bit of time get good on rotations etc . give him till the end of the season and i really doubt if somebody by then want to trade him for ANYBODY in this league. He gonna be franchise player 100% , you don't trade such players .

3 games in and he's already making noise and looking well on the front page of NBA.com.. how can you not be excited about the guy..

Valanciunas is a completely different type of player by the way.. decent on D for a rookie center, loves contact and has freakishly long arms.. slow as f**k though.. still a lot of potential, i see him as an asik type of player.

Two rookies with a butt load of potential.. exciting time to be a lithuanian.

Very interesting. I've watched a lot of basketball in my 4 decades and I think Dmo has the potential to be really good. He may not ever be more than an average defender, but his height alone is enough to have some affect on shots. Who knows? He may prove me wrong. He seems to be a hard worker. Definitely needs to hit the gym hard in the off-season.

D'Mo is horrible defensively. He caused Rockets to be down double digits to Mavs.

His offense is his best attribute right now, but if given time and minutes like Dirk he will improve enough defensively to be an effective weapon.
