Good comments. I believe he is so behind the curve,it may take him one year to become a productive NBA player. I wouldn't give up on him,he is talented.

The best fit i see next to Dwight is someone who is consistent. I just don't see that in D-Mo.

D-Mo still seems to be too light in the britches. I know he gained a lot of weight, but he doesn't seem like he has a lot of balance. People who have wrestled or practiced BJJ, will understand what I mean. People with lots of balance that could shift their weight around felt like they weighed twice as much.

Consistent production in the NBA will only come from consistent minutes. The coaching staff will have to commit to one of three players to give the majority of the minutes to. I think if they're looking at who has the most potential to become the spread 4 they want it's gotta be DMO all the way. If you're gonna play Greg Smith you might as well play Asik. While TJones surely will become a rotation player, there are too many parts of his game that would be redundant next to Howard.

He never had to play inside in Europe. They use their big differently and that's always been an issue for euro big here in the NBA. It's a new mindset and it take more than mental fortitude to learn how to lower your center of gravity, using leverage and such.

He's got the best coach to teach him that.

D-Mo will be the newest toast of the town so long as he remembers where his bread is buttered.

In Houston, TX, people butter their bread. In Lithuania, people bread their butter.

Kazlauskas has experience, coached several other national teams and worked with Yao during the Olympics.

It's gonna take a couple of years. I believe he can be good starting PF eventually, but not now. Rockets will have to make a move this season because neither D-Mo nor T Jones are up to the task.

Wouldn't breaded butter be like fried butter? That would be the boardwalk, not Lithuania.

In Lithuania, the board walks you.

I understand that, but he coaches a style that DMo needs to forget because it's the reason his defense is so poor in the NBA. IMO playing more Euroball doesn't help a player make the transition from European basketball to the NBA style of basketball.

He will be here soon enough with McHale. I expect slow improvement.

They must be smarter than us because there are plenty of new studies that prove butter is good for you and bread isn't.

I just hope that they tell Dmo that he is going to start and that he'll get consistent minutes. I think that once he gets used to playing and knows that he can make a mistake and not always have to worry about getting pulled, that's when he will settle in and play consistent.

She's most likely pretty than you, just sayin. D-Mo looks like he did put on some more muscle, he performed okay on the boards but he does look a bit awkward on defense still though. Good to see he can still shoot though.

I don't think everything is on the coaches though. Either that player is cut for
the NBA or not. I agree you have to give him more minutes.
With Morey at the helm, we can't be sure that he is staying for several years or being traded at the deadline.

Let's take a look at Jonas Valanciunas.... he is looking to be further in development and probably will be an NBA player or more.

I know this thread isn't about Omer but he will play a friendly match in 30 minutes. You can watch it from ntvspor.net.

Thanks. Any particular reason why Semih Erden is still starting over Asik?
