Lemme see him play in another summer league game, then I'll consider the ROY award, lol.

I bet he has another good game. He may not shoot 11 - 13 but I believe he will play well.

If Orlando wants DMo as part of a Howard deal, and won't do it unless he's part of it, Morey should click END CALL.

Agreed. Morey would be an idiot to include DMo. Keep the youth.

D-Mo for Dwight straight up :)

BUT for realz y'all, you have to be willing to include a D-Mo if that is all they want..but I'll go a little further and say he is NOT worth it for a 1 year rental. If its Dwight long-term, you do it.

Yeah, and to think he is looking this good without a few years in the league to develop. I have a feeling that he will get bigger and hence better. I like him how he is but if he is going to be a star in this league at seven feet tall. he is going to have to get stronger. Hit the weights DMO

To tell you the truth, as someone who has had two back surgeries, I have little faith Dwight will ever be quite the same player. So saying that, I would not trade DMo straight up for him. Now, I would for Dwight in 2009

I don't know what D-Mo's potential is, but it sure would be fun to watch him develop.

    In a Houston uniform.

    This year.

I guess you have never had a REAL back injury that requires surgery.

They don't go into things like this blindly. I'm sure they've consulted a number of doctors and specialists about it. Hell, I'm sure Morey has data collected on the % of players rebounding from similar surgeries and how their numbers compared.

And while you may have some insight to what it's like going through back surgery, we a.) don't know if you had the same kind of back surgery Dwight had, b.) had access to the quality of doctors, facilities and trainers that Dwight has, c.) put in the work to rehab your back.

Injuries are always a gamble, but I'm sure Morey is hedging his bet.

There is no way in the world I would trade someone like DMo without:

    1) Actually seeing DH play with his back for a while. I nother words I would wait until the trade deadline.

    2) I would trade a high potential rookie like DMo with Howard promising not to sign.

If Howard shows to be the same player and agrees to sign then I would part with a lot including DMo. Without seeing him play it is WAY too risky.

It's Dwight Howard who is promising not to sign and who has not played any basketball post back surgery. If Dwight were healthy I would probably agree with you. Peace!!!

From what I've seen in summer league, nothing special. You guys spent all offseason hyping this guy if he doesn't contribute this year yall should be embarrassed

Nobody else is taking their chances to offer Dmo for Howard straight up.

Knee jerk...... He showed his potential last night. Bad nights happen to good players and they definitely happen for rookies... He's not going to be a 20ppg scorer this season, but dont expect nights like this to be the usual... He played bad tonight... It happens..

As of right now (and I may be the jinx here), but Lamb is leading the summer league in scoring... Really didn't see this coming... Gotta feal like if UConn had won a few more games and he'd looked bigger in a suit that this guy could've been closer to the top 5... I hope he's staying a Rocket...
