I agree Bima, but it would be good management to consult with him on his way down, and I would not be surprised if they wanted to help the Vipers out by sending him down.

I think at the end of the day, he probably should have been down all year, but with injuries they needed bodies to practice.

JT is a D-league caliber player right now....maybe he will develop....we shall see, but he will only develop by playing ball and that was not going to happen in Houston.

Lowry reaggravated his ankle sprain, according to Feigan.

It's time to recall Taylor, yet again.

Conroy, maybe. Taylor certainly can't play PG any more than Ariza.

So Temple is with the Spurs and Conroy will have to be signed for the remainder of season if called up again. Any other options for backup PG, or will AB just have to log 40+ plus minutes again?

Besides we have already double signed Conroy and Temple. You can only sign two 10-day contracts with each player.

Morey needs to find us a D-League guard for a few games.

It depends on how cheap Morey is. Conroy has already played two 10-day contracts. It would have to be for the rest of the season. I am not sure they will do that.

Conroy can be called up again, but has to be signed for the remainder of the season, per NBA d-league rules.

I personally would have signed Temple for the rest of the year, but I know that would not have made sense financially and roster wise if everyone came back healthy.

Rest of the season contract shouldn't be too costly since we're nearing the end of the season. Don't know what luxury tax complications that would have.

Thats what I meant; no more 10 day contract. Has to be guaranteed contract for the rest of the year.

Would suck if signing a D-League guard means going over the tax, and not receiving the estimated 4.3m share of NBA profit. Playing Brooks to death vs losing serious $$$. Hopefully we are far enough under the tax.

I think a team needs to get a player's permission to send him to D-League. Reason being, players only contracted for NBA games, not DL. IIRC, the Italian guy the Warriors drafted, never played in DL because he wouldn't agree to it.

Knowing Adelman, even if they did sign Conroy, they'd be playing Brooks 40+ minutes for the remainder of the games until either his production took a nose dive and/or he got injured.

I'm guessing we just might see either Taylor called right back, or Adelman experimenting with Martin or Battier or Ariza playing as the point. Morey might pull someone out of void to play a ten day or two, but Adelman is a stickler for who he trusts on the court.

Yeah, but anyone can go off for 20+ on a given night if they don't have to worry about playing D or executing called plays. Chuck Hayes could score 20 points in a Don Nelson offense.

If JT is going to stick with this team he needs to become a combo guard....at least defensively

I agree, but it may have something to do with getting enough bodies to fill out a practice. Im just thinking.

I think D-league teams are better than college teams.

Didn't Washington sign Mike Harris? Don't play Ariza at point, are you kidding me?
