I think I have played twice in my life. The last was in 8th grade when I went with a friend to his church's bible beach retreat. It was pretty funny because D&D was "satanic" so the kids played some other brand/version of a role playing game. Then one of the counselor guys comes in and says, "That's not Dungeons and Dragons is it?" and the kids say, "no, it's _____." And then he says, "well, ok, you guys can keep playing." Pretty funny, because the only thing that was different was the name. Idiots. Anyway, I only played a little while, then got somebody to take over my character while I went out on the beach and tried to corrupt some girl.
I would seriously do this. Imagine the great variety of characters people from ccnet would create. That would be a fun game.
Whatever you say man. In fact, I'll let you choose my character and I'll then proceed to destroy you.
Never played it. We played a lot of Risk (the game of world domination) in college. We could never actually finish a game. Way too many beers and angry girlfriends...
Call me super geek... I played D&D back in the day.. I like Rush I like Sci-Fi in general(including Star Wars) I gave up D&D for a funnier RPG called Paranoia. ..if you enjoyed any type of RPG and have a demented sense of humor....you will love this. We still try to get together and play every once in a while(once a year if we are lucky)..
Yeah guilty of being a super geek up until college days - kinda lost is appeal once I was in college for one reason or another. I still like to play the occasional RPG on the PC and PS2 (Baldur's Gate and FFX). Rockets2K, Paranoia was definitely one of my favorite RPGs as a kid. That was a lot of fun to play with a group of geeky but mischevious guys. Was hard to come up with good scenarios but we had a blast. Here's a rank of my favorites (wow brings back childhood memories) 1. AD&D (1st edition with all those random and confusing rules) 2. Paranoia - wackiest RPG I ever played 3. Gamma World (if you know this one, I am impressed) Others but I don't want to admit how much I played as a kid
