It's so backwards and ridiculous, honestly, that they are still keeping up this dumbass rule. The vaccination is only for self-protection, for old and vulnerable people. The USA are almost the only civilized country left that keeps this unscientific rule up.
Fauci was clearly involved (via EcoHealth Alliance/Peter Daszak) in funding the Wuhan lab from which the virus originated. Afterwards, he tried to silence scientists talking about the lab leak. Like a mob boss trying to silence those who were talking about his crimes. He should face the legal consequences of his actions.
People continue to mix up a theory of a lab leak with the theory that the virus was "man-made". I read the document cited by the NY Post article. It don't think it shows deception on Fauci's part. Scientists didn't need orders from Fauci to set out to "disprove" popular unfounded theories like the notion that the virus was man-made. Also, I will stress that we still don't yet know whether the virus came from a lab, and people shouldn't act like that's a foregone conclusion. There are people within the FBI who have a strong incentive to pin this on Chinese labs for political reasons. We should follow the evidence and reserve judgment if the evidence is inconclusive.
