Same with the lab leak theory. You weren't even allowed to talk about it. Why Twitter would make itself the defender of the Chinese Communist Party, I don't understand.

Not revisionist history, just science which will always update with more data. That's how science works.

Nobody seriously ever said vaccines would be 100%.

Things we know for sure at this point. Vaccines have been effective. Vaccines have fewer side effects than Covid-19. That is true even with the blood clots. Covid-19 is more likely to give a person a blood clot than the vaccines.

Vaccines have saved lives. It sucks especially for front line health care workers in hospitals to have waste time, energy, and reaources because so many people refused to get the vaccine.

It's also sucks and takes a toll on the workers having to see so much death and deal with anguished grieving families many of those believed that vaccines were bad or ineffective or unnecessary.

There are plenty of front line healthcare workers who did not want to get vaccinated. Don't patronize them.

I got vaccinated, but your sob story of the poor frontline health workers is not a justification for vax mandates and censorship.

Your inability to process and interact with viewpoints different from your own is noted. By all means, stay in your own little echo chamber.

This is quite the stupidest thing I have ever read and you have re-tweeted it.

    You be you.

    It's one man's opinion.

I know you leftists try to shout down and censor opinions you don't want to hear.

I prefer to listen to many viewpoints and look at data.

P.S.: Me posting a tweet doesn't necessarily mean I endorse it.

Gates would have been censored/suspended on Twitter for saying that. And the lefties here would try to shout him down.

I tried to simply post data. The risk for old people is thousands of times higher than for young people.

But the lefties don't want to look at data. They prefer to virtue signal and shout others down.

Never advocated for censorship. Just because you don't know any front line healthcare workers doesn't change what they go through.

Most places wisely don't allow unvaccinated counted Healthcare workers on the front lines. Any Healthcare worker that doesn't want to be vaccinated has such poor decision making and reason, they shouldn't be allowed on the front lines.

Sorry to hear. As I said - I don't agree with that tweet. But I think it's right that he can state his opinion. Unfortunately, a bad flu season actually also kills a lot of old people. So while he is wrong and it may be hurtful to many people what he say, he is entitled to trying to make his point.

    https://www.familiesfightingflu.org/flu-deaths-vs-covid-19-deaths/

That alone proves him wrong easily.

Could you do me a favor? In the future if you post a tweet, could you tell us whether you believe or endorse the tweet or not. I would like everyone to do this, including myself.

Here in the states, many political ads have the candidate state that they “approve this message”. The Stand By Your Ad provision requires anyone running for federal office to include “I approve this message” as part of their campaign commercials, the goal was to limit insults and accusations at one another.

I know that most of us here are not political candidates, and it is not a requirement to state whether we agree with a tweet that we post. But, I think it would be beneficial to the board and maybe cut down on some confusion. Let’s be honest here and admit that when most people post a tweet that they usually do probably agree with it.

I really do hope that you DO NOT endorse some of the tweets that you post.

Yet you posted a tweet that you don't agree with and didn't say that until a subsequent post further down.

Nobody argued the guy shouldn't be allowed to tweet ignorant stupid stuff with which you don't agree.

The question is, why did you post it here? Again you're entitled to do that and I haven't seen anyone saying you shouldn't be able to do it. But calling the tweet out as stupid shouldn't be an issue for you since you don't agree with it.

The CIA carried out an operation between 1959 and 1971 to kill every bird in the country and replace them with surveillance drones that recharge on power lines.

There are millions of bird truthers.

BTW I believe birds are real ... at least most of them ;)
