If he had all the info up front and it was stated that you had to have the vaccine then he made a choice and I respect his choice... But you can't have it both ways... T_Man
Individuals and families chose that district and the school board. They can choose a private school or even start their own private school. But in this case, you are supporting state government over independent school districts and private businesses. On to the more relevant point of the gulag. When is the last time inmates of a gulag had pizza delivered to them? Also, the school district is on the side of student and employee safety. The man complaining of gulags is actively against their safety.
Makes total sense. When we have transplants to spare, those who put themselves at risk needlessly might be on the list.
Just to read what he has to say is well sad... “It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it." Science? “My son has gone to the edge of death to stick to his guns and he’s been pushed to the limit.” He welcomes death? "Ferguson has two children and is expecting a third with his partner Heather, according to a GoFundMe page set up for him." WTF? Think of your kids. I don't know if it's too late but get the damn vaccine for you and your family's sake.
Yeah. People who make horrible choices shouldn't take limited resources from those that look into protecting their already compromised health. This guy not only is apparently refusing to look after his own health but isn't taking steps to be there for his family. I am not a fan of that guy.
Doesn’t believe in science - stupid Has kids and won’t do this so he can be around for them - selfish yeah, I’m good with this idiot not getting a transplant.
I'm not going to go that far and say I agree with him not getting a transplant but he should have been doing whatever it took to make sure his family was taken care of. Even if I don't believe in the vaccine and but do every conspiracy theory out there, I take it in his situation because I want to be there for them and will listen to my doctor. He pretty much put politics/dumbassery before his own flesh and blood...I hope his life insurance policy covers that.
What do you think about alcoholics having to be at least 6 months sober before they can be on the liver transplant list?
What do you think these dudes do all day ? Watch cable tv ? Oh wait , that’s what they do! Miami Beach I’m coming soon. Don’t like these cold fronts
I feel bad for that man's family but having a dear friend who is on the transplant list for a new kidney and pancreas I know how many requirements they have to meet. There is a severe shortage of organs out there and as such there are strict standards to meet them including how long they might survive.
In that link it says this: "Dr. Ali Mokdad with the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. "People are calling it the 'stealth variant' but I don't believe it's a stealth variant because we are able to detect it and we are able to monitor it." While the piece doesn't specifically say that it is PCR tests there are tests that can detect it.
Yes, I have a friend who's had a transplant. It has been difficult since. Some of her conditions have baffled the doctors and she's really limited in what she can do. She works super hard to follow all of the medical advice and it was very difficult for her to meet the requirements. Thank goodness she did. But with the lack of available organs out there, it isn't a worthwhile risk to give one to somebody who is less likely the benefit from it such as this guy.
