The bowl sponsors are out of their sunk costs. I suspect that ~50K hotel rooms will now go unoccupied. Other local businesses like restaurants will "lose" expected revenue bumps. The two bowl universities will not see the TV revenue. This is in effect a budget cut for those universities who regularly go to bowls. The two bowl universities will lose the opportunity to shake the alumni money tree.
This is classic!!! I love it!!! More players should do the same. The elites would sh*t a brick. MSM would go completely bonkers! Could this possibly be the beginning of the end of the scamdemic???
Of course you'll have someone on here running in to defend them once again. Even when the truth stares them right in the face.
I'm curious about people who think this is a scam. Do you think people are faking symptoms? Are hospitals all hiring actors to overwhelm themselves and run into financial difficulties? Or are they lying and really empty? Are companies intentionally shutting down supply chains for ***** and giggles? I'm curious how deep this scam runs.
you're a rat in their experiment they didn't care when the restrictions were being imposed on people in the South. Now that COVID is hitting where the elites live, they are unwilling to abide by the restrictions, and are letting up on them. they won't tolerate the isolation period, but they will force your 5 year old to wear a mask all day
This Omnicron is spreading like wildfire. I know friends where it's spread to 50 percent of their workplace even with everyone vaccinated. That being said, all but a very few are asymptomatic.
Did the CDC ever say that a negative test is required to leave isolation? I don't remember that ever being a requirement. Testing positive with PCR test for weeks due to stray viral fragments is well known. Here's the guideline from earlier this month before the change, nothing about needing a negative test. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html CDC hasn't been perfect this pandemic, but there is no need to make stuff up.
It really has just exploded in the last 10 days or so. Totally foreseeable, but still a big bummer. The endgame for the virus is to be everywhere and so it was only natural it would mutate to become a more virulent, less dangerous form of its original self. Next year and probably henceforth it will be just another disease we inoculate against annually. In the meantime though, this sucks complete butt. I'm tired of this. All of it.
Hack hack sniffle sniffle.. Ending 2021 with coronavirus after successfully avoiding it for the last year and 9 months seems like a fitting bookend to this recent chapter. Im all hopped up on purple drank. Fade to black enter 2022 We see what happens next ok? funny how life goes He thought he was sick, now he wipin' his nose, okay
