I may not have been a Malosky fan and I've said my fair share of desparaging remarks, but dang, at least she was professional and good at what she did. Just for the record, I never asked that she be fired.
So what if Malosky has many more years of experience reporting and is good at what she does. In the end Malosky will never be able to "raise the roof" quite as good as Coop and that just doesn't get it done in the eyes of Rockets management.
That halftime show was atrocious. And ALMOST the whole board agrees with me from what I've read. I'm all for rewarding your team players, in this case Cooper for what she did for the Comets. That shows a level of classiness by a business. But the negative comes out in this particular case. Why didn't Les give Cooper a job she was qualified at? I'll tell you why! Because Les THINK that by showing the world his good deeds to past players, he will be gaining added publicity and good will. As you can see we aren't as stupid as you may think. Les is trying to pass a kind act to Cooper, shoved into our face, in order to build good will for his franchise. I'm a season ticket holder, and I don't appreciate these dirty tactics. Lisa wasn't my first choice, but heck she was a HELL of a professional. I could count on two hands the amount of times she messed up in the whole season. With Cooper, I don't have enough hands to keep track of all the mistakes. AND THAT WAS JUST ONE NIGHT, ONE NIGHT. I CAN'T BELEIVE THAT WAS JUST ONE NIGHT!!!!!
Yeah, I meant the entire board but you, my bad...and who cares is with a '?' not a '!'...but who cares?
