If you think Durant is going to Spurs your just thinking with a losers mentality... if Leonard wasn't there I could see... he not going there.
Leonard at the 3, Durant at the 4 and LMA at the 5 would be one of the deadliest front courts in recent memory.
Not sure since Hill didn't play that well and next year expires...anyway, fair enough, it's just that: - Houston is better than Indianapolis - Ellis is a bad fit in almost every team, not a guy you want to play with...imo at least - Durant knows hot to play with Harden, he doesn't need to work or guess if they can play together - if they trade Hill how many good player they'll have? George, Ellis? Turner? We have a better core...i think But anyway, i say it's fair, i just think some teams will probably not be in the mix for various reasons, but we'll see.
Weak inside. Anyway the problem is that LMA doesn0t want to play center and i think Durant is not ok in play always the 4.
I don't think OKC's surprising success changes the fact that KD is at odds with OKC ownership. They've been notoriously cheap. You just don't undo the Harden trade and hope he forgets about it. He's absolutely gone.
I don't think he will do that. I believe his best chance to win an NBA championship is with an experienced team.
True, but the Celtics are able to put enough "veterans" around him...let's say they can trade for Butler (i actually think there's a good chance the Bulls are going to rebuild if they lose Pau and Noah which i think tyey will)...then just sign Durant and Horford with an ok center... Ezeli/Biyombo/Mahinmi Horford Durant Butler Thomas/Smart/Bradley That's really good... I really think Boston is a dark horse here, they just need to be able to trade for a player of that caliber (Butler) on draft night and they'll be absolutely in the conversation.
I don't have a %, I don't pretend to be Durant or pretend to know what he's thinking. I just said that I think you can make a strong case for why he'd join the Rockets. -Playing with best friends. - Playing with another all-star teammate (Horford) Pretty much the argument against Durant joining the Rockets are all. "This team sucks!" But people are talking about the 2015-16 Rockets, a team he's not joining. He'd obviously make the team instantly contenders if he joins. Also I already said that the biggest obstacle to getting Durant is whether or not he leaves OKC. I feel if he leaves OKC then Houston and Boston will be at the very top of his list and I think Houston has the edge because of a certain bearded fellow.
Durant will not leave OKC. Durant will recruit one more guy to help put them over the top if they cant get by GS.
How many free agents of note have you seen going to OKC? No one wants to live in that dump unless there is ALOT more money involved.
all you need is the first domino to fall. Trade for a star, be it Butler or Griffin then sign one max "all star" like Horford for example and then they are one of the best candidates. They have good cheap roleplayer wings, and one of the best coaches and most importantly they are in the east. Much better chance for Durant to win a championship coming from the east then the west. But if they don't get the 1st or the 2nd pick the chance for the first domino to fall becomes much less. Because from the 3rd pick in the 2016 and on, then that asset doesnt' have enough value anymore to become a centerpiece in a trade. And then there will be other teams who will be able to put forth comparable or even better offers for that first domino. For example the Suns.
KD's playing like trash right now. unforced turnovers galore, missed FT's, poor D, passing off early in the shotclock so he can defer to role players
KD has to be tired of the ball hog. Def comin to the H to play with Beasly and Harden! Sources of sources confirmed.
