People underestimate just how close Beasely and Durant actually are. This move, quietly, may have tipped the scale in our favor, even if just a little. Bring in Scott Brooks throw in James Harden's pitch and uhhh....we may actually have a puncher's chance this time to land another star.

I don't think Durant likes Howard or his personality, so yeah D12, while he may walk anyway, won't be missed.

Durant loved his time in Austin and has proclaimed multiple times he enjoys being in Texas. Only time will tell if Morey can strike again.

A lot of angles to this and the best friends angle that the Rockets are taking certainly can work. Morey has to pitch something different.

But the more the Warriors beat down on Okc, the more I see Durant looking discouraged out there and thinking no other team is going to beat these guys. Already 0-3 against the Warriors and if they meet in the second round and get swept, I can totally see Durant thinking about going to the Warriors and no one else.

If you want Durant to come here, you DON'T want them to jump to the 4th seed.

People wanting to tie Houston down to Harrison Barnes also want to tie Houston down to further mediocrity. Cool.

Sometimes it works out for the better. Look at GSW landing Iguodala instead of Dwight.

Harrison Barnes is like that plain chick who hangs out with the hot girls, so everyone thinks she's hot.

Do you even read? It's to chase Horford AND Barnes not only Barnes.

    Plain is better than none.

Nah bro. Problem is that dating her is a multi-year commitment and you can't date anyone else. I'd rather hold out for better.

I refuse to wait given our current situation. Harden needs teammates that don't suck. You can always trade Barnes if it doesn't work out.

I would think that as a fierce competitor durant would have little interest in joining GSW. if anything these last two losses makes him want to beat them more than join them. Not saying he joins harden here in houston but I'd be shocked if his mindset is that of "if you can't beat em join em".

The Durant to GSW thing is complete nonsense (At this point). No way GSW are even thinking about doing anything to upset their chemistry, and unseating their superstar who is potentially on his way to the NBA elite in the history of the game. Unless they implode in the playoffs I fully expect them to keep their distance and focus on the task at hand.

He's not going to GS that's all media hype no different then the media hype of Dwight staying in L.A.

As much as I would love Durant on the team (who wouldn't...) I am really hesitant to getting burned by big FA's again.

I'd much rather go after Horford AND Conley. I think we could really contend with a Conley-Harden-Horford "big 3".

I'm pretty sure that makes her look uglier. You mean he's like the 6 who hangs out with a bunch of 3s, which doesn't apply to Golden State.

He's not coming to this mess, give me one good reason other than a choking "superstar" buddy in Harden. KD chokes as well, we'd just have another soft, nice superstar to fail in playoffs. Keep dreaming people.

Durant is going to Indiana to play with Ty. If only Les kept him...

    Here's a good read:
    http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/...d-kevin-durant-could-become-sonics-teammates/

“Yeah, we thought about it, but wherever he goes, I wish him the best,” Durant said. “If we happen to play on the same team, he can play inside out. He would be a great low-post presence. We’d just learn from each other. We’d be a very young team.

“That would be so cool. I’m not going to say it’s impossible, because you never know what can happen.”

Morey, you sly dog... getting Beasley to bait Durant. I like it.
