Wright is a very big deal on defense...

I live in Dallas and I watch the games (not just the stat line) and I can tell you Wright has a helluva lot of potential and his defense is damn good... But all you guys look at is the stat line.

    It's all good T_Man ....

IMO we really need another playmaker, who can also score (including a solid J from deep), play off the ball....and bring big defense.

I agree that we need another quality big behind those guys, but that can be picked up without a problem.

The timing and context of the Woj comment about resigning Bev could easily be construed as propaganda/party line to tighten the vise even more on PHX....at minimum cutting both ways.

I agree with the play maker, I think if they get brewer he can handle that load... Plus with him Terry coming in for the 2nd unit that gives you some nice offense.

I just don't see how Goran can fit in their log terms with Bev still here and the fact that DM wants to sign Bev in the summer..

Yeah they will... The bench just took a big hit... They will have a nice starting 5, but the bench is going to suffer..

Wright was their insurance when Tyson would be injured or get into foul trouble, big Greg is a freaking fouling machine...

I know we hate the chemistry word, but it should be interesting to see how all of those egos fit... Also Ellis likes the ball in his hand, which was no issue with nelson since he can play off the ball and switch to being a sg. Also Crowder was all energy and hustle, so it should be interesting to see what happens.

But Wright is going be really really missed..

Can we trade for a robot that doesn't get fatigued on back to backs?

If we have a 8.3 TE, couldn't we use it on someone better than Brewer... like Kyle Korver? (He makes 6.0+ mil) just saying.

I stand corrected on Wright, thanks for the insight! My Houston vs Dallas bias leads me to believe all Mavs suck, except for Dirk.

My biggest worry about getting Rondo was chemistry. Brewer, back up big, ect., come in and fill a role, they dont come in expecting to be a star.

AD only makes 5.6m a year. He would fit in our TPE too. Unfortunately the other team has to agree too, you know...

Lol of course we could, but usually a trade takes two teams. Are the Hawks just handing us one of the best shooters in the league because we said so?

Tonight's game is an example of why the Rockets would benefit from another playmaker-- a guy who can create shots for himself and for others.

Harden is a great playmaker, but the team is depending on him for way too much. Had to score 41 on the road last night to win in overtime and the team's offense suffered tonight with Harden having dead legs and all of our other perimeter players being mostly spot-up shooters.

If we had Dragic (or someone with his skill set), we are less likely to have expended so much of Harden's energy last night and would have another option to go to if/when Harden is tired.

I agree 100% and believe that is why Morey ultimately passed on Rondo. Whether it is Dragic or Thomas or someone else, we need another play maker.
