The more of Woj's twits on this, the more of that article is right : he is just a tool of the agents and GM for deals bargaining.
If Ainge is smart and (if Rockets deal is good enough)... He has to make deal with Rockets.... ESPN will hate it of course, but hey it what it is... I honestly could see a Bev deal believe it or not Bev/filler/Pels Pick... I think something around that would be offer. I'd also hate to give up DMO, but Morey has to do what he's gotta do.
So we can all agree right now that Morey is pinning PHX and BOS against each other? Who will take it first.
I feel like the Lakers are most likely the ones Ainge is trying to drive the price up on. Maybe he feels he can still land Randle. Dallas has nothing to offer. I think they're another smokescreen name out there, just like we are.
agree.. but it got him to where he is now. which is at the top of the ladder in nba reporting circles.
The Stein report that says Dragic is higher on Houstons wish list than Rondo, I believe is a ploy from Dallas to get Rondo. It might back fire because Dragic may request a trade to Houston instead lol
I don't agree on this. Just the same as people saying the same on Morey handling Asik's trade, blaming him waited too long for his value to drop. Well, it could very well be that all of these are just smoke screen, there was never a good offer for this player on the market and Morey/Ainge is just making up with all these craps.
I'm begging Morey to help us out and include the New Orleans pick. Celtics fans don't want to move Rondo for that awful package.
Damn.. Rondo's tenure as a Celtic is over. Wasn't that long ago that he was dropping 42 on the Heat. Now he's being traded for Jae Crowder.
Sounds to me like Morey is trying to have his cake and eat it too. Ainge is clearly trying to get Morey to pony up. Methinks Morey is trying to hedge his bets and still have enough assets to trade for Dragic.
No doubt, if you will offer the same to all other NBA beat writers, I guess 99.99% of them will take it in a heart beat and f**k their professional standard, or whatever it meant.
