This waiting game has failed us before, I just have a bad feeling about putting all our chips in Dragic for February. We may just get left with an old washing machine.

Boo. And what if Dragic doesn't become available? Then what do we do this offseason when Beverley is due for his deal? Do we let him walk to keep our flexibility? We should pounce on Rondo.
This offseason you would sign Dragic and resign Beverly potentially. I'd rather do nothing than get Rondo. I have zero interest.

While I love Dragic and believe he is perfect fit for us, but what guarantee do we have that we can nab him in Feb? And why at deadline instead of now? We need to give these guys some time to build chemistry before playoffs. Why wait? Put your best offer for Dragic NOW and if they are not interested go for Rondo.
Which may not be a bad thing. I got one of those new high efficiency front-load washing machines a couple years ago. Man, those things suck. It was an expensive, highly rated model, and it doesn't wash clothes nearly as well as the old-school top-loaders that have the plastic agitator in the middle and fill all the way up with water. These new HE machines use much less water, and so they don't rinse your clothes as well. I'd take an old-school washing machine any day.
Any idea what the Celtics are looking for? And are the Celtics willing to hang onto Rondo until the trade deadline where his value would be severely diminished?
My guess is that Dragic gets dealt soon. I think these discussions do two things. It gets Ainge more for Rondo and it gets Dragic here sooner.
