Schroder is going to be pretty good for a long time, I agree.

This if Morey wants him he can easily trump anything the Mavs deal.

So then C's would have an 18-man roster?

@ESPNSteinLine Rockets have been after Rajon Rondo even longer than Mavs but it'll be interesting to track how hard they chase him now given ... (1 of 2)

@ESPNSteinLine (2 of 2) Given our reports over the summer that free agent-to-be Goran Dragic has passed Rondo on Houston's wish list when it comes to PGs

You are right as far as what would Ainge would want, but I do not believe Morey will let go of D-Mo. In a certain way, D-Mo's great play of late has made life tougher for Morey irt to trade possibilities.

Outside of the 15+ good games or so in DMOs career, there probably isn't anyone in here that would not have traded him for a box of peanuts this off season.

I'm 90% sure there will be again no deal before a deadline..if there is one, it better not involve D-Mo, we have no PFs!!

Haha, very true. It's amazing what a good month can do for you. Ainge has to be kicking himself right now for not taking the offer when it was on the table. But, as we all know, Ainge is one greedy SOB, and it might have cost him a hell of a haul from us.

Morey and Ainge are in cahoots, running up the price on Rondo to see if Dallas or LA want to shoot themselves further in the foot to acquire him.

Re: RR. Cancer? That is media fueled BS. He and RA clashed, but who else? How unique is that?

Did his shooting, need for ball dominance but cancer? I believe he's a good fit on a team. Not Rox team, tho.

i can't understand why fans here don't want him.

people go on about having a shooting power forward, Green can play some power forward and he is good offensively.

consistency has always been a problem but he seems to have improved that this season

If we traded DMo to land Rondo I would be sick to my stomach. It would also effectively kill any postseason success chance we may have had.

This is excellent news. This means we are not trading for Rondo. Let's do the Brewer deal and wait until Dragic shakes loose at the trade deadline.

It's because people would rather sit and wait on Jones to come back than to get a player that can be inserted into the rotation, play solid minutes, and contribute.

he really ****ed over his self. He shouldve traded him when he had the chance. Morey is gonna pull assets from the table if you make him wait.

No thanks. I'd rather have jones when he's healthy and terry.

What really matters right now is the need to retain D-Mo. Howard needs help, we can't rely on his health. Howard and D-Mo are starting to play well together, and Beverly fits in well with the team.

Sure, we need another ball handler and passer, but we cannot afford to give up too many assets for Rondo.

No way we trade DMo. No way. Seven-footers who do what he consistently does now are rare birds. And Bev's play makes Rondo unnecessary. All this Rondo talk can only be to jack the price up for Cuban.

I'm just not a big fan of Jones personally. If he's on a list of players that someone wants to make a trade for someone we want, he's an instant yes to me.

At this point I might rather hold on to Terry than Jones depending on what I'm trading for. I know, crazy.
