If Goran is the apple, keep shakin Morey. He's the perfect fit on this team. The rumor about Dragic for Wright is interesting, but doesn't make sense for Dallas. The Mavs have plenty of offense.....Wright is irreplaceable as a rim protector.

Just to clarify, I was referring to the Twitter accounts (like Drew) that mysteriously pop up as insiders and tell us "deal by Thursday" or some nonsense like that. I wasn't talking about Plowman. I tend to think someone who has been around the CF community so long is trying to pass along good info as he knows it. That's all ... whether it actually is accurate or not I don't know. I honestly have not followed this thread too much though so I don't know all that was said. And yes, I was told they were nowhere on that (because I checked then), but what conversations they had before that to ultimately be "nowhere" then I don't know. I'm sure they pinged Phoenix on it at some point to know it wasn't happening then (which it didn't). And I have no idea if they're anywhere now... the only thing I know is the Rockets would be interested in Dragic (obviously) and they thought something could be possible with the way things changed over time. That's it... not much of a scoop. I should add the variables of Rocket player development and the New Orleans pick projections as things they thought could make it possible over time as well.
Why not? The idea is to put your best players on the floor to start the game. If the point guards are continually burning Wes/Harden, bring Bev in. But flip the script and think about the mismatches having both Harden and Wes in the backcourt would create. Which opposing point guard can handle guarding Harden or Wes? Only a couple I'd imagine and that's being generous.
I think he was just thinking out loud about why we have not thrown out Wes when members have been throwing out hypothetical trades for every other player under the sun.
