Bulls just got pau gasol

 

Pau to Chicago, so I don't think anyone is going to take Boozer to help get Melo there any more. Maybe Boozer to help get Pau paid?

 

Pau is starting? If not, send jones and the first for Gibson and match parsons. I'll be satisfied with that.

 

Jones is better than Gibson and is only 22. Gibson will be 30 next season. No thanks.

 

Hmmm... I wonder if Chicago can land both Pau and Melo with some help.

Boozer out allows Melo to make $21.8M via sign and trade.
Taj out allows Pau to make up to $13M via sign and trade.

 

Carmelo said he wants Taj and also he said he wants Gasol. Can't play both.

 

I wonder if the Bulls still want Melo and grabbing Pau might facilitate the Rockets extracting Dunleavy, Gibson and Boozer?

I think he would want Pau more...he was "considering" staying in a worse situation team wise if Pau could be brought in. So now Gibson may be expendable in his mind. This could be an interesting scenario for sure.

 

Melo has shown himself to be an insecure jackass so far. I know he has a lot of talent....but teams should seriously just stay away from the guy.

Gibson just turned 29, and has only played 5 seasons in the nba. This guy is just hitting his prime and will be fresh until 32-33 most likely.

Pau signing with the Bulls can be either good or bad, but I have a feeling its most likely good.

Anthony and Gasol to be Bulls, means either or both Gibson and Boozer are out. The Bulls can trade us

Boozer + Mirotic and Dunleavy
Amnesty Boozer, trade us Gibson and Dunleavy
Trade us Boozer, Gibson and Dunleavy

Any of the trades would be great.

If they give up Boozer and Dunleavy, they would keep Mirotic.

If they give us just Boozer, then we can demand Mirotic and Dunleavy

so they could have a front court of either

Noah/Gasol/Mirotic

or

Noah/Gasol/Gibson

We either get Boozer, Gibson and Dunleavy
or
Gibson and Dunleavy while they amnesty Boozer
or
Boozer, Mirotic and Dunleavy
