I posted a very accurate comparison of Bev's defensive stats versus other top point guards in the league.

If you've played the sport before and even the PG position, you'll realize that you need to force the Tony Parkers, Curry's, Westbrooks, Lillards and Chris Paul's of the world to play a bit of defense instead of just trying to defend the 3pt line on a Beverly. Using up leg energy on the defensive end can takes it toll when having to fight through picks or cutting off angles to the bucket. Im worried about how much the rockets are currently using up Harden who almost has to have a herculean effort for them to win, will he have anything left in the tank for the playoffs?

I remember the great Magic Johnson being quoted as saying the amount of energy he exerted to bring the ball up the court when Pip was guarding him 94 ft, took a lot out of him. There is always be a different way to skin a cat.

the president of the wizards actually mentioned it (inadvertently), it was about the taxes and cost of living, he wanted $10m per to make up for the difference, and they felt that if they did that, houston would match and then it would be $12m and pierce might have been gone. I should have screenshotted the page, because the interview was taken down (and they redacted the reason to "because they wanted pierce") because you're not meant to talk about contracts like that, lol

Jeez, how did I miss this?

You had it for 40 years?

Forget the inside stuff, I am super glad to hear you are getting better - wow - that is some kick in the nads....

Merry Christmas Batman Jones - glad you are feeling better and one day I will come to H-town to catch one of your plays....or if you direct one in Austin...

    ;)

PS. You would not happen to know John Corley by any chance would you?

Peezocker is dead, we are all now Descendents and making a game called Ships That Fight Underground, or STFU for short.

Thanks for the kind words, old friend. Would love to get you down here for a play. I don't know John Corley, no. I hope you've been well.

Grant Hill went to Phoenix and got healthy, and their rep was made. No amount of evidence will affect it. It's like Harden's defense. I wouldn't be surprised if people think he's a bad defender forever thanks to that video.

Thanks! I thought I saw something like that but was surprised the wins didn't up their offer.

OKC would definitely make the playoffs with that move. Probably the best trade scenario I have heard this season so far and one that I didn't even think of. Russel/KD/Ibaka/Monroe core is scary.
