My understanding of what Plowman posted. 1) There will be two seperate deals 2) Cannon will be involved 3) Soon
haha... yeah. Its called doubling down. The latest is apparently Canaan is being traded here very... eheemm... soon.... If you want to vouch for Plow on this one go ahead at your own risk.
That's a question for the insiders. I dunno... we are all just jealous because of our lack of connections apparently.
Like when the Rockets had his draft rights before bringing him over or before then when he was property of the Blazers? It would be interesting if that was the case. Seeing as though he was practically given away to the Rockets in the TRob deal & they probably would have wanted to trade for him well before he signed with Houston. I'm assuming that if you are a team that is interested in him as a long term prospect & your not a free agency player like the Rockets will be, you'd definitely want to get him before he signed with Houston on the current deal. If they want him as a contract now as a way to shave salary from next year's books, that's understandable for them. However, there is no way I can see Morey moving Pap right now without knowing a pretty damn good player is coming back. And Corey Brewer is not that.... he's good, but not that good.
Canaan stepped up and established himself as another playmaker on the roster. Going into the season, Harden was the only proven playmaker. Giving up a pleasant surprise in the playmaking Canaan without getting a playmaker back would be bad. We will see a lot more of the offense tat was displayed in OKC. Stop Harden, and the next option is forcing the ball to Dwight in the post. It's great if he's on, but when he's off, he tries WAY too hard to get something going.
