Can someone with twitter and a brain please inform Drew that he is a moron. Last week he sits there and tweets "So good to be right" and all this other stuff. Now he just pots Rondo but I don't know when. He also posted this last February. This whole thing with these guys is getting old. Just shut up. Nothing is going to happen anytime soon.
Drew's tweets aren't taking away attention from any meaningful discussions in here. This thread is dead, anyway.
unfollowed Drew, not worth following anymore, if he was able to bring content I would continue. I believed for to long, and gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wish I moved on sooner, but time to move on
The Rockets need 2-3 more players to get over the top. How ever they do it, they need to keep this core: *, Bev Harden Ariza, Pap * Howard
He looked really good last night, I think the Celtics keep him unless they get a favorable deal. Rondo being traded for spare parts is not enough, I dont think HOU has enough pieces the Celtics would be interested in. Celitcs play HOU Saturday should be a fun one. I fully expect Dwight to dominate Olynk. Though KO is a nice offensive piece his defense is just not there.
Do you think Ainge might actually view Rondo as sort of a 2006 version of Paul Pierce where they could flip the rest of the team into stud players and keep Rondo in the process? Honestly, I don't know if Ainge knows exactly what his plan is, but I'm not ready to rule that or anything off the table. I think the Celtics could go in alot of different ways, and they have a ton of trade-able assets & picks with very few open roster spots for young rookies next year and the year after. Everyone here thinks that Ainge is just going to give away Rondo because Rondo might walk this Summer. I'm not so sure about that. I think Rondo might be able to look back and the history of that team, and see a future where they rebuild a contender around him pretty damn quick, and that entices him to resign. If a really good player comes available, you wont find much else out there better to acquire as an asset as Marcus Smart and the Brooklyn picks.
