I wish we could just go ahead and flip Jones+NOP Pick+Future Pick+Canaan+Johnson for Rubio and then absorb Martin into the TPE. That team needs to find one more big man but is awesome. Howard/Black Motiejunas/Adrien Ariza/Pap Harden/Martin Rubio/Bev
In the end, what matters is how much a team is willing to pay. If the Wolves value him, they will pay him. Let's see how the extension talk goes.
I have my doubts about that, with his injury history. I would be pleased to see Cuban overpaying him.
The D-will bit is making sense as far as "how washed-up is too washed-up" and TX homecoming. It fits with what cyberx once posted. If D-will emerges from surgery at no worse than 80% of what he once was, maybe that's the "don't-suck, but don't-quit-on-Durant-in-2016" plan.
How much does Dwill make? Pretty sure ariza and kosta would have to be packaged with terry to make it work, and then how would that be worth it? Sheesh you guys either post trades that either make our gm or the other teams gm look like the dumbest man on earth. 95% of posts aren't realistic
Terry, Papaniko, Powell, Capela, Canaan and Johnson would be enough salary to trade for Williams. We could also ask for Kirilenko and Teletovic with our TPE. PG: Williams, Beverley SG: Harden, Daniels SF: Ariza, Kirilenko PF: Jones, Teletovic C: Howard, Motiejunas I'd do it, would just need an upgrade at the 4 and we'd be good to go.
I don't think the salary works. Terry + Papa + Powell + Capela + Canaan + Johnson = $14.4M $14.4M * 125% + 0.1M < 19.7M = Williams Not to mention there are trade restrictions on Terry and Papa.
I think the 5 million dollar rules kicks in after the salary outgoing is 10 million. 14.4 + 5 = 19.4 So, might have to throw in Dorsey or Smith, still, same trade. Also, I know they have restrictions, this trade would have to be done after November 16th.
