I totally agree that rival GM's aren't going to do what you said, but Lowry did receive an offer. I suspect it was in the 9-10 M range, then Toronto offered him more. I also feel he was more comfortable with his team, and coaching staff after his success. We needed a PF more than Lowry, even though he could have helped us out a lot.

Fool for not overpaying Parsons? Fool for dealing Lin/pick to clear space for Bosh when they thought he was almost a lock? Fool for trading Asik for a lottery pick even though Asik forced his way out and every GM knew Morey had no choice but to get rid of him? The only so called mistake Morey made was not bringing Parsons back for one more year, but if he does that, Parsons is gone for sure. It was a calculated gamble that would have allowed the Rockets to start next season with Bev, Harden, Parsons, Bosh, and Dwight as their starting five. It didn't work out, but every decision the Rockets made is defensible.

Gallo does everything Parsons does, but better. On top of that his defense is elite. The catch?, his back was broke. Even before he was in the NBA_, yeah.

You got the guys who want to close this EPIC thread and complain about it. Then you got guys who call the guys still posting on the thread jerks. Then you have the guys who try to tell the jerks calling other people jerks to not call them jerks because this is a free forum and you can speak as you wish.
